I attended the Tucson campus for Dental Assisting. From the first day, it was chaos. The teacher Aurelia was nothing but a mid life crisis mess who partied with her students and flirted with the guys all day long. She was a poor instructor who never spent one minute really being serious at all. None of the students had a chance to do the 'taught' procedures because she only showed us once and spent the rest of her time texting dudes while the class played on poured up models for practice. Such a joke. Mind you, I was an honor student and I took my education seriously....but I taught myself everything because she was just not available. When going over new material, she was so vague and and impatient if students who struggled needed further explanation. I felt bad for them. Also, she made it a point to kick us out early most days so she could go do her personal things and get out of class. She was late to class almost every day because she went to lunch and went shopping. I couldn't stand having her as an instructor because I am a very serious student and when I am paying 10k for an education to better myself, I better get a good instructor. It reminded me of being in a charter school for teen drop outs. It was a joke. Then when it was time for extern, I realized just how much we didn't learn. NONE of the things she showed us was what I did as an assistant. This school is not only a joke, but the instrutors are flunkies who couldn't keep a job elsewhere. I neer had a bad experience in the school. I kept to myself and did all of my homework and received good grades. I just feel that I wasted my time here as no one even helped with job placement either. A very expensive education, no job, and a mountain of debt. Highly not worth attending to future prospects. The teacher looked like she crawled out of bed from a night of partying every day and was a ghastly mess. I am very sorry I ever attended this school.
