I know it is a wine establishment but ONLY wine? It is not that I HAVE to have a drink but when everyone is sipping their wine--which makes me violently ill-- it would be nice to get to be a grown up too and order something other than a Coke. Why they can't add a few bottled beers or have a small stocked bar is beyond me. As for the prices, I usually just get a salad and frankly, the berry one from Wendy's is half the price for the same amount.
The above reviewers are NOT reviewing Luxury Nails. You are referring to Nail Spa, farther down FM3040. They are the salon who just remodeled with TV's all over and yes, their nails do NOT last.
Dr Chris is an outstanding doctor. He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and takes time to understand your concerns. Sadly, he has left Flower Mound Family Care and is now working at an urgent care in Ft Worth. We were not notified by the practice he would be leaving, only by our insurance he would no longer be covered. I had to Google to track him down and then was saddened to see he had moved so far from us. After nearly 3 years as my husband and son's primary care physician, I think it was unprofessional to not receive a letter from the practice, informing us of his departure. Having to find out when my son was ill and needed to be seen was very disappointing.
Dr Adair is an outstanding doctor, caring, personable, and knowledgeable. However, with the recent departure of Drs Roberson and Schlottman, I have reservations about remaining with this practice. The office staff has changed considerably and most are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, there is one woman who remains who is neither and can make your visit unpleasant from the beginning with her often rude behavior at the sign in window. As for the nurses, again, much of the staff has changed and on my last visit, I did not like seeing all of the new faces. I am sure they are lovely and competent but you do like some familiarity at your GP's office. As for the office itself, my appointment was early Tuesday morning and yet the room I was in was dirty. When having to completely undress, the last thing you want to see is hair all over and dirt and dust in the corners. I had never experienced this before and was surprised. As for Dr. Adair, she was sweet and pleasant as always but I ended up leaving without discussing all my health concerns with her simply because she seemed so rushed.
While I like Dr. Bowen, my negative experience was several weeks later with the optician staff. I had ordered a $600 pair of eyeglasses. They were still bit too large and so I took them to be adjusted. The optician broke the frame and offered me another pair similar (but not same) as mine while a new pair of my frames could be ordered. I went back 2 weeks later to pick up my replaced frame. I didn't closely inspect them and when I discovered a drop of glue on my frames several weeks later, I realized I had not been given a new pair to replace the frames the optician broke, but rather, someone had glued my old ones back together! VERY poor way of doing business and we won't be going back.
