The chicken salad deli sandwich is delicious. I go here at least once a week for lunch. It is really fresh tasting and not heavy.
The pasta is very good here! The wine list is very impressive as well. Service has always been fantastic. I three times I've been, the dining room has been a little smokey inside two of those visits. Perhaps a better ventilation system in the kitchen could help?
LOVE the bread here, and the sandwiches are great too. Every time I stop by, they offer me a slice of the day's special bread. I just got some of their blueberry cheesecake bread the last time I was there and it was incredible.
We got sweatshirts made for my daughter's youth group retreat. The folks here are really easy to work with and helpful. I did not know there would be an extra charge to set up our design before making the sweatshirts though, but even including it the price was still very reasonable.
Last year I purchased carpet from Stone Mountain for a rental property I own. I went in with my budget of $2.00 per foot, including padding and they managed to come under it easily, and not with some "fuzzy side up" stuff that would have to be ripped out and replaced in a couple of years. I'm happy with my purchase and the service I got here.
When working on my rental property, I went in to Seattle Lighting for some cheaper fixtures to replace the exisiting ones that were beginning to show their age. I was really impressed with the selection, but unfortunately there were not many "price conscious" options that would work for a rental. Most of the fixtures were middle to high end in quality and price.
For my own home, I would definitely consider returning, but for a rental property you might be better off going to Home Depot.
Be sure to come hungry when you visit Dixies. The portions are enormous! I would honestly say that one order could easily feed two people. I took almost half my meal home with me because I didn't know this beforehand. I recommend trying the "Dad's potatoes" with your breakfast. They are fried slices of potatoes that are light and fluffy but crispy on the outside.
I think I've found my new breakfast spot!
I should have realized from the name alone, that this stand was one of those "Bikini" barista stands. It was only after I drove up and saw the girl had on little more than underwear that it clicked in my head, but by then it was too late and I just wanted to get a coffee. My drink itself was just so-so. I would not recommend unless these kinds of peep shows are your thing.
The chicken teriyaki is very good here. It is far less fatty than most other teriyaki restaurants. I also like the tempura vegetables and gyoza. Everything is really inexpensive too and the people working here are very friendly. Sometimes the meat has a little bit too much sauce, so you have to be sure to let them know to not put too much on when you order.
This store is somewhat of a treasure hunt, since it is different every time you visit. The stock is constantly changing, so it pays to visit often. You can find really nice designer clothing, like Liz Claiborne for over half the list price. Weekends can get a little busy, so the racks can get pretty messy. If you go mid-week it isn't as bad, so you wont have to deal with much pushing and shoving.
