The first time I went in I had already scheduled an appointment and decided to go see the place a few days earlier before I talked to the artist. Just to get a feel of the shop and check some of the art. I was instantly approached, not that it was a negative thing - in most cases it would be positive, and felt put on the spot to explain why I was there. When I told them that I had an appointment later that week and just came to check the place out they got the artist and it just felt very pressuring and uncomfortable.
When I went in on my appointment day, after they delayed it by 4 hours, I was spoken to as a child not as a client. I appreciated that he voiced his concern about my tattoo I wanted but he could have done so in a more respectful manner. Perhaps they were having a stressful week, you can never know, but I personally found it to be a negative experience. I'm not trying to make them seem like a bad business, they are very talented artists and people, I just didn't click with one of them.
