Katsuya Brentwood
Walking into this place, you know it's not just another LA restaurant trying to look hip. The vision behind the Katsuya'ss is evident from the minute you see the lush interior. Hip, yet doesn't feel in your face. But what I really came here to talk about was the food. Rich flavors with great presentation. I recommend the Spicy Albacore Sashimi with Crispy Onion or Yellowtail Sashimi w/ Jalapeno. Those are mouth watering as this is some of the freshest fish in town.
Velvet Margarita
Cool Hollywood spot. Very hip, trendy, around a bunch of other good places if you want to bar hop, Def. work stopping in and having a drink.
Gladstones
When I first heard Gladstones had been redone, I was taken back. But this place has gotten much better. The CRAB ALFREDO FETTUCCINI is some of the better Italian seafood I have had lately. Most of the menu is new, but favorites like the Clambake are still on there. Some may be alienated by this, but I feel it breathes new life into the place.
Ruth's Chris Steak House - CLOSED
Don't let the chain name throw you, this is a quality place for a steak and this location is no different.
