First off i guess this is my fault according to kara (manager).
I had a Playstation 3 serviced by this company only because they claim they are faster than the warranty service provided by Sony.
My Playstation 3 experienced a YLOD ( Yellow Light OF Death ) and i was going to send it in for repair however i noticed a company advertising on Craigslist was claiming they could repair them quicker than Sony could do it and i figured why not...
I took my PS3 into this company and a girl named kara who claimed to be the manager said they fix them alot faster than sony and have done it many times. I DIRECTLY asked her if this would remove the warranty with sony and she said NO.
I decided to let them fix i.
My first complaint - When i got it back they had wiped the PS3 hard drive so all my content and music was gone.
My second complaint - After about 1 1/2 months after the repair it happened again.. This time i called pc guys to find out they only warranty the repair for 30 days and i would need to pay the amount again.
It was time to send my PS3 to sony i was simply tired of these games.
1 week later after sending to sony i get a call from them explaining this unit was not able to be fixed under warranty due to a 3rd party opening and burning the system board.
I feel i was lied to by PC GUYS! I will never use them again for anything. Im out of a PS3 a good chunk of money and gained a bit of insight.
