The doctor rarely sees a patient. He has a Physician's Assistant who handles ALL follow up visits... no matter what. They don't provide treatment during those visits, even tho they seem to bill for extensive office visits when you do go for an appointment.
But the worst thing about this practice... is their office personnel. They are so RUDE it's unbelievable. They do not listen to the patient whatsoever, instead, continue to talk over the patient during the entire phone conversation.
Do people not understand that when you are being treated for an injury lasting for years on end, you are already not only in pain, but running on half empty? Yet, when you call their office for assistance, you are met with rudeness, and indifference... If their staff is tired of doing their jobs... then they need to find new jobs... Vicki, Jeanette and Rosa seem to be those types... they either won't return calls... or if they do call you... will be as rude as rude can be. They use to have some really nice gals working for them... but apparently they are no longer around... it's really too bad... I found a new doctor... and I've heard that others are on the lookout too... They might have good doctors there... but their staff is the face of the practice... they are so horrible to the patients... Say goodbye to at least some patients who are tired of being abused by your staff!!!
The firm of PERONA, LANGER, BECK, SERBIN & MENDOZA is possibly the worst law firm in the state. They do the least amount of work required. They fail to communicate about critical dates, fail to respond to critical filings, and do not communicate with clients.
When you call their offices to try to speak with an attorney, you will be placed into a phone queue, much like a tech support company would do if you called in for computer or internet support. Once in that system, you will wait and wait, sometimes as much as 45 minutes on the line, before someone finally picks up. You will speak with a different person each and every time you call. You will NEVER get a direct answer to a question. You will most certainly always have more questions and no helpful information when they end the call. And you will NEVER be allowed to speak with an actual attorney.
They will not follow up if the opposing side has requested you go to an Agreed Medical Examiner, something that can often times help patients receive all the medical treatment and financial benefits they so desperately need and deserve. They will not tell you what's going on with your case at all. If you try to push them at all for information, often times they send a letter stating they want to stop representing you because all of a sudden, it's not worth the money for them.
There are several people interested in the class action suit who have made that accusation, along with bringing up so many other issues.
The thing is, I know a lot of it is true, because I got rid of them before they could completely destroy my case. I still have provable damages, but I didn't allow them to destroy my case completely before terminating my relationship with them and hiring a good attorney.

Good luck to all of those people who have been damaged by this firm. And for those folks who need a work comp lawyer - don't use this firm. Contact a reputable referral service in your area for a good lawyer. The law offices of Larry H Parker have referred this firm to people who have called for work comp cases.
