I work in a company with special needs. I placed an order for their lunch and I didn't receive it until l almost 2hrs later! I called after an hour after my order was placed and the woman on the phone said the delivery guy just left and they were very busy. After I finally received my order I called for the manager to say I'm very upset and highly angry that it came so late and that it was warm she asked "what would you like for me to do". She gave me half off my next order and didn't even apologize. I'm 7mths pregnant and my participants are on medication. They need to eat at a specific time to take their meds. Unfortunately one of my clients fainted due to the delay of his medication and some acted in anger because they were hungry. I will never order dominos again and I will be telling everyone I know about this!
After being taught when hired that the participants all have choices seem to not have any. The individuals are supposed to be given choices when it comes to where they would like to go for recreation or where they would like to work but instead are handed a monthly calendar of the trips there are to go on and a site they have no choice but to work in. They go bowling often in which most are either tired of it or don't like to go. Management and supervisors seem to play by favoritism. There are drivers that I would question and I would give random drug testing to everyone hired. That includes management, supervisors and staff. Where is the fairness within staff and participants? I love each and every individual the same and I wish they were given options.
