AVOID!!!!! I couldnt have had a worse experience. This is a HORRIABLE establishment. I called and made an appointment to have my cats hair cut and groomed and was told to bring him in on Saturday morning at 10:30. When I got there I spoke with the owner (Im assuming Trish), and asked about wait time I should expect to pick him up. She told me she couldnt give me any kind of estimate of time because the girl who does cats wasnt even in yet. I had made the appointment on the phone with the cat groomer, Stacey, so I wasnt quite sure why she wasnt in yet. The owner said she couldnt give me an accurate estimate on time but that probably around 3:00. This surprised me because Ive had my cats hair cut a groomed a couple times a year for the past 7 years and its never taken longer than 2 hours to get him back. I didnt say anything about it at the time and just figured I would adjust my schedule for the day. At 4:00 I still hadnt received a call so I called and was told that it would be another hour and that Dolce was in the process of drying, but that they would call me to let me know when to come get him. I was curious to what was going on that was taking so long so I waited about a half hour and then headed over. When I got there I had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come out of the back to talk to me, even though they could hear the customer service bell and I could clearly hear their conversations from where I was. Eventually Stacey came out and told me it would be another hour at least. At this point Im pretty upset but was still willing to let her explain. I asked what still needed to be done and she said he was still drying. I told her that I would just go ahead and take him and dry him myself. I then stated that I was having a hard time understanding exactly why it was taking so long because at this point he had been there over 6 hours. She said that my cat was infested with fleas and it took 2 flea baths and combing. Im not going to say that there isnt a slight possibility that he had a couple of fleas on him, however, he is on medicated flea treatments and I would DEFINITELY have known if he was infested with them. Then she went on to say that cats just take a lot longer to do and that she didnt even like doing them anyways, and that Saturday is the worse day and that next time I should come on a Monday. I asked why the appointment was even made in the first place if she didnt like doing cats or have been advised that Saturday are not a good day. She said she had no idea why the owner made the appointment. She either didnt remember or thought I wouldnt remember that I made the appointment with her! Then some truth came out when she said she needed to finish the haircut really fast. She went to the back and then came back to the front and said she needed to run and buy a new razor blade. When she got back I heard her tell the owner in the back that the store was closed so she would have to use the dull one. About 10 minutes later she brought Dolce out to me him his carrier, didnt say anything or make eye contact and sat him on the floor. She went to the back and then presented me with a bill, which consisted of the date, time, store name and address, and fee of $75. No itemized listing explaining what I was paying her. Unfortunate for me, I didnt feel comfortable arguing about it and just paid. When I got home I realized I had made a mistake by not taking Dolce out of the carrier while I was there. She did an absolutely HORRIBLE job on him, and not just a choppy cut but she had taken a HUGE chunk of hair off one side of his face and cheek. When I called to discuss how EXTREME UNHAPPY I was, Stacey answered the phone. I stated I was unhappy with how unorganized and unprofessional they were and not only that but she clearly didnt have a problem providing bad services, and she accused my cat of being infested with fleas, and I wanted my money back. She got extremely aggressive and stated that if I had a problem with my cat having fleas I should take him to a vet. That statement upset me, but I looked past it and said, ok, thats fine but lets talk about all the other points I made about services. She starting yelling, basically saying in short that it doesnt matter if I dont like it and that he had fleas and no money will be returned. I tried to respond but she would not allow it, yelling over me and not wanting to address the real issues at hand. She then hung up on me after I let her know Im going to bring it up to the better business bureau. I know this is a long, maybe unnecessarily detailed review, but once I got to looking at other reviews its clear that these are common occurrences for them. THIS PLACE NEEDS SHUT DOWN!!!! And thats only going to be able to happen if people continue report their behavior.
