Queen Creek, AZ
We were new to the area and Custom Creative landscaped our backyard about 5 years ago. We were happy with the promptness of their work and until three days ago were happy with everything including the island and grill.
After five years of use and cleaning the best I could, we needed our BBQ Galore grill cleaned professionally, so we called the BBQ Galore store for assistance. When their guy came out to take the grill he showed us several issues. There were no vents in the island, there should have been a metal flexible hose not the rubber one they used, the hoses were too small, and there was no regulator on the gas line. We were concerned and upset so we called Custom Creative. Mike, Jr. answered and listened to the issues and said he'd call back. He did call back and then told us about how BBQ Galore went into bankruptcy and pretty much bashed BBQ Galore, then said, "My dad (big Mike) said, it's been five years so we're not doing anything". Then proceeded to say, "the rubber hose is just fine and would have passed inspection". Out here rubber in any form doesn't last long,
Today, as they are re-installing the very clean grill, the installer showed my husband the shoddy wiring job which actually left exposed wires. The install is now fixing that problem. And, then told us that there absolutely should be a regulator on the gas line to the grill because if there was a fire, the fire department would note there was no regulator and insurance would not pay for that damage.
We thought we had professionals who knew what they were doing and and luckily nothing terrible happened. BBQ Galore is now taking care of these issues and we have to pay for them to be done properly. Make sure you have the rep. from your grill choice tell you exactly what is required.
