    Villager Restaurant & Catering

The best priced lunch menu, large menu selections, friendly wait-staff, and the only restaurant in Kent, CT open for breakfast. Their Eggs Florentine, burritos, and fajitas are exquisite!

    Riverstone
    ★★★★☆1 review

The artist and owner of Riverstone, Jill Scholsohn, creates beautiful and earthy looking jewelry. I found her at the Columbus Arts Fair. She uses turquoise, coral and silver in many of her designs. If you like these stones, you will love her creations. Check out the web site eriverstone.com

We had a lovely lunch sat outside on the patio on a warm March day. Both the chili, and the black bean soup were excellent. The lemon bars were out of this world - huge, so great for sharing! The service was friendly and helpful.

    Morrison Gallery

Morrison Gallery owner, Billy Morrison, opened his new 7,000 square-foot gallery space in Kent this past fall. The new gallery on Old Barn Road, which recalls some of New Yorkâ??s most beautiful contemporary art galleries, maintains a sense of Kentâ??s bucolic charm, while serving as an aesthetic...

The service is very good. This electrician is thoughtful about providing the optimal solution for electrical needs, not just going by rote. Responsive and fairly priced.

Despite being very busy as an essentially one-man operation in a rural community, this contractor is responsive and does solid work at reasonable billing rates.

    D & S Auto Repair
    ★★★★☆1 review

Auto shops and mechanics don't have the best reputation for honesty, but these guys are more concerned with maintaining their reputable standing in this small community than they are in churning a quick buck. They do good work and stand behind it.

usually a trip herre meant bad news, like the car windshield got cracked or something like that. But the service here is good and reliable, so they make the experience tolerable. Prices are fair.

    Belgique Patisserie
    ★★★★★1 review

Chef Pierre is truly a world class artist whose medium is cholcolate and pastry. His cakes are visually stunning in their color and design. Everything he makes is done to perfection with painstaking detail. In the summer, their home-made ice cream is a treat not to be missed.

    Paris New York Kent Gallery

This is a unique space and set-up, behind an old train station in downtown Kent. The gallery itself is an actual converted train car. The exhibits are well done and interesting.

    Kent Memorial Library
    ★★★★☆1 review

Anyone who goes to Kent on a weekend between the spring and fall cannot help but notice the huge book sale that the library puts on every week. The books sit outside on tables under coverings during the week and get revealed on weekends, when very low prices, pretty good organization and large a...

    Toys Galore & More
    ★★★★☆1 review

I really like the toy store in Kent. They have pretty much everything you'd expect to find in a toy store--cuddly stuffed animals, a large selection of Playmobil stuff, dress-up outfits and accesories, art kits and beads, kids' jewelry, small cheap novelty and gift items, and other not-easily-cl...

    House Of Books
    ★★★★☆1 review

House of Books is a decent independent book store. It doesn't have a huge selection, but it tries to pack in the major bestsellers that people are most likely to be looking for. They also have some very overpriced CDs, a room of gifts in the back, and a small room of art supplies including tube...

This is your typical home town supermarket on Rte & in the small town of Kent. It is boon to the people of Kent as they would otherwise have to drive 20 mins to get to their supermarket. Their produce department has a wide selection of fresh fruits and veggies. Deli is pretty good with freshly pa...
