San Rafael Joe's

We have been customers since 1972. We no longer live in San Rafael - yet always come back to San Rafael Joes's for dinner at least 3 or 4 times a year when we visit family. We are from Sacramento now.

Thanks for allowing us to play Dominos every Monday and for having friends at a memorial Domino table.

Mmmm! Sweethearts! Chef Carlo makes the most scrumptious sweetbreads. Crispy on the outside. Nice bite. Mushrooms and sauce! San Rafael Joe's has been here a long time. Chef Carlo has improved it tremendously since my mother used to come from San Rafael High to eat lunch here with the cadets from Marin Academy in 1948! The food is wonderful, the portions are LARGE, and the prices are extremely competitive. Plus they're one of the few restaurants in San Rafael that will seat and serve after 11 pm on the weekends! How cool!

Come here for The BEST burger in Marin. always perfect. The best Sapphire + Schweppes gin and tonic. So I love coming here. Rita is my favorite and we come only when she is here!! Thank you -

Everything is always excellent! The dinner was fabulous! Marie was a terrific waitress. She was so helpful, pleasant and a joy. Gorge was the best and we enjoyed his helpful service. We love San Rafael Joe's!

This restaurant has excellent food, but it is a bit more expensive than other places. Their chicken parmesan is very good and is usually what I order. There is a bit of a wait, but the staff are very friendly.
