I've been hearing a lot lately about mini split ductless systems, and thought since we were going to install an AC system in our house for the first time, that we should evaluate ductless systems compared to the regular systems with ducting throughout the house. Our attic is very small and there is no crawl space under the house, so the idea of a ductless system was appealing even before we compared brands and contractors. My research found that there are a few manufacturers of ductless systems - Fujitsu, Mitsubishi and Daiken are the main ones I found. We decided on Fujitsu after some research and referrals and then looked into Carini as one of a few contractors that we got bids from. Carini seemed to be the most knowledgeable and had a lot of ideas that the other contractors didn't mention. There price was not the lowest but we ended up hiring them and have been very satisfied with their service and attention to detail. We ended up with a 3 zone Fujitsu mini split and believe it was the best decision for our house and for energy efficiency. Thank you Carini - a job well done!

We purchased a new house in Carmel Valley this year and it had a furnace but no air conditioning. The furnace was about 23 years old so we decided to replace it and add an air conditioning system. Carini gave us a detailed proposal that included a zone system that lets us control the upstairs and downstairs independently, and because the system was higher efficiency, it qualified for a loan though the HERO Program. Carini did a great job with the installation, was on time every day and we highly recommend looking into the HERO Program as well. It was very easy to apply and get approved, and we can even write off the interest on our taxes.

I needed service on a furnace that we have had in our house in Del Mar for almost 18 years. It was working fine until December but then one day it had a funny smell and then no longer worked. We bought our house in the Talmadge area of San Diego 4 years ago and every year we said we were going to install a new heating and air conditioning system. Alls we had was an old wall furnace in the hallway, and we used a bunch of space heaters in the winter and had one window air conditioner in our daughter's room that we bought at Home Depot. We finally made the decision to purchase the new system for the whole house, and went with Carini Heating and Air after doing a lot of research and talking to several companies. We decided on Carini for three main reasons: 1. They had the most experience of any company we talked to with old homes in and around our neighborhhood; they did more measuring and calculations than any other company that gave us an estimate so we felt that they knew exactly what we needed, and their price seemed very fair and more competitive than the guys in town that advertise on TV. We were so pleased with their work and they even took the time to give us detailed instructions of how to change the programming on the thermostat and made sure we understood everything.

I highly recommend Carini Heating and Air if you have any kinds of problems with your furnace or air conditioning system in San Diego! This is the 2nd time I've used them, the first being when I replaced my heater and most recently when there was not enough air coming into my daughters room and the upstairs bathroom. We live in a 23 year old house in Carmel Valley and our air conditioning condenser has seen better days! It is pretty rusted out and we had 3 estimates to replace it. I own a two-story townhouse in North Park and needed to replace an old furnace. We have had problems with our furnace for the last few years, and have had several San Diego heating and air conditioning contractors out to our house in La Jolla. Carini Heating and Air San Diego came to my house in Bonita and created an energy efficient heating and air conditioning system for our ranch style home. The house was built in the 50's with rooms added on to make it a sprawling ranch house, with a lot of rooms needing different kinds of heating and air systems.

We have two rooms that were add-ons and neither could accommodate ducting - so we had Carini Heating and Air San Diego install two mini-split systems that are mounted on the walls, require no ducting and keep the room perfectly warm or comfortably cool.
