Sleepy's Mattresses

If you show up at the Shelton, CT store to buy a mattress, make sure you go on a day other than Sunday or Monday when John (little Napoleon) is patrolling the floor. He?s a flat out liar and talks down to prospective customers like they are mere idiots. I suppose that one can?t blame him for trying to sell an item at top dollar, but don?t tell me that your price is as low as possible since I was given one substantially lower the day before, by another salesman.

Then when asked why there was a discrepancy between the delivery fee posted on the showroom wall and the one on the Sleepy?s web site, he concocted some convoluted story about how the particular mattress we were looking at was somehow responsible for it. Hellooo??? It had nothing to do with any brand of mattress, it was about STORE POLICY which didn?t match up! Rather than just admit that he didn?t know why, he adopted a snotty attitude, turned and walked away while muttering something about him being all-knowing and we were mere mortals.

This moron had a sale in hand worth over $3000 and pi$$ed it away with his poor ?bedside manner?. Now the guy down the road gets the sale, for no other reason than the fact that he wasn?t a jerk!
