Adobe Resort

This place is amazing! Pool, Sauna, kids pool, gift shop, fitness room, lounge and a restaurant all in one place! The rooms are also really affordable! I would have never thought I could afford to stay here but their rates are comparable

Beautiful view, and especially if you are staying at the motel, you will like the convenience of eating here. Awesome.

A full service hotel and resort located on the Pacific Ocean's edge Central Coast of Oregon. A wonderful location for viewing sunsets, listening to crashing waves, tidal changes. and for seeing winter storms. These may be viewed from your room, or while in the the lounge and dining room. The restaurant is at the water's edge, serves delicious meals, and has a sunday champagn brunch. The resort has easy access to a long beach walk. We have stayed several times and in all seasonsr. You will not be disappointed

I'm going to comment more on the restaurant than the hotel since we didn't stay the night, but either way its a great property with beautiful unobstructed views of the ocean. The restaurant served some wonderful seafood. The service was fantastic, and would certainly go back again.

I'm not sure if I'm just expecting too much but I was sorely dissappointed with my stay at Adobe.

First and foremost the Filet Mignon was the worst cut of meat I've ever had. When I order a steak that costs as much as that did I don't want tendon in every bite. That was just horrible. The lounge with live music was kinda nice. The hotels main redeeming attribute is the pool and hot tub (although the hot tub wasn't hot for one of the three days I was there).

A few other things noticed was that you hear every step out in the hallway so good luck taking a nap during the daylight hours. You also get major vibration in your room when the person below you turns on their bathroom fan. The staff was 50/50. Sometimes I got great service, sometimes I stood there wondering if I was invisible or if they were really putting that much effort into ignoring me.

No cooling function in the room so on a hot day all you have is the window, and the window has no screen so expect insects. Not even a ceiling fan. When I called down, no options were offered.

Great area, nice little town, with great hiking and beaches. If there was a next time, I will definitely be staying elsewhere.

We drove to the Adobe for dinner, but as it turned out the Adobe is only a short walk along the 804 trail from our room at the Fireside Motel. We were 10 minutes early for our 7PM reservation, but were not seated at a table by the windows until after 7:15PM due to a mix up. We each ordered the wild salmon entree, rice pilaf and the salad bar very good, but the salmon was a little overdone.
