My husband and I hired an electrician off of craigslist to change out our old panel and add a few circuits. He did the work but when we didn't pass inspection he was no where to be found.
Luckily for us we ran into Jack of Cornerstone Electric at the renovation home show a couple weeks later and he offered to make things right for us. He came out to Hillsboro to look at the work and noticed several things were done incorrectly. He was willing to take on the job and get us to pass inspection while minimizing the cost. He says "Craigslist kills" and he is right. It's nice to find someone who is looking out for OUR best interest and cares about the customer. I will definately be using Jack for any electrical issues we have in the future.

I had Jack do a service change on my house with one request...I wanted to be involved with doing the work to increase my knowledge of residential service. Jack was great at explaining everything as it went together and helped me to understand residential electrical code. Jack and his electrician paid attention to details, completed the project in the time that he said it would take, and went the extra mile in cleaning up any messes that they made. If you are trying to find an electrician that will do the job right and in a timely manner, then Cornerstone Electric is the last number that you will need to call.

The best type of service was one I didn't need. I called Jack for him to come out and estimate a job that I wasn't quite comfortable doing myself. He listened to my concerns and then gave me advice over the phone on how to accomplish my task and manage my concerns.

This is not something I have come to expect out of a contractor, and I was quite pleased with Jack's professionalism and honesty. He could have easily come out and billed me a few hundred dollars for work I ended up doing myself for less than $10.

I know who I'm going to call if there's an emergency or bigger job.

Like most do it yourself home owners I am careful to move ahead with projects. Unfortunately I overstepped my own capabilities and incorrectly wired my kitchen lighting. I called Cornerstone Electric after having unsuccessfully referenced some literature, and searching online for solutions. I was very impressed and greatful for the professionalism, kindness, and patience they showed while resolving my challenge. There is a comfort in knowing that Cornerstone Electric is properly licensed, bonded and insured when so many other so called electricians are advertising in local newspapers. Now that I have experienced their level of excellence I will be a return customer, and I will not hesitate to use them when providing care for my customer base as well. I needed an electrician and sent an email to Cornerstone. Within less than a minute I got a call back by a Cornerstone Electrician, and they immediately diagnosed what I needed and responded and fixed the problem. What I thought would take several days turned out to be just a few minutes.

It is rare that I receive such excellent service from such a highly professional and personable team.

Kudos to Cornerstone. I will use them for ALL my electrical needs in future, without hesitation. They've got my business for sure and I'll recommend them to everyone I know.

My wife and I needed some exterior lighting installed and based on the reviews we read... we chose Cornerstone. Jack was very prompt and even fit us into his schedule before we headed out of town for two weeks. He wanted to make sure our lighting was in place while we were away. Not only did he keep his word and get the work done before we left, but he came in under the estimated price and Mike did a great job with the installation. A person could not ask for better service... thank you both! It is nice to work with a company that really cares about their customers.

Cornerstone does an excellent job for all of the realtors at Prudential. We like that they understand the complexities and time concerns of the real estate deal and always work with us to get the deal closed.

We have had Cornerstone Electric do two jobs for us, they provided wiring for a new tankless water heater, and they replaced 15 sockets in worn out recessed ceiling lights. Jack sent different electricians to our home the two times, and both were professional, personable, and did great jobs for us. If you need an electrician I suggest that you call these folks, their motto is that the customer has to end up happy, and we have.

I'm a Manager at Clackamas Stanford's and when I walked into our restaurant the morning after 4th of July 1/2 of our lights would not come on. Thinking it was a bad breaker we jumped on the phone to get an electrician here so we could open the doors for our guests on time. We called 3 electicians that did not respond to our emergency. I got on the internet and found that Cornerstone Electric had a 24 HR emergency response and gave them a call. About 10 minutes later and electrician walked in the door to save the day. He was very knowledgable and quick to fix the problem. We were up and running in no time. A big thank you goes out to Jack at Cornerstone Electric for his prompt and exceptional service.
