After reading all the horror stories on the internet regarding Keratin Hair Treatment I had basically decided not to do it. I had spoken with Wesley on numerous occasions about it but was still extremely skeptical. There is a lady I work with who had it done and her hair is gorgeous. I had also spoken with Cindy at the salon and she had Wesley do her hair and it was gorgeous and ??Not Falling Out? like the stories on the internet.
Wesley explained to me that there are several manufacturers of this product and that you have to make sure to pick the best one. He used Marcia on Cindy??s hair and the lady I work with had that same name brand applied to her hair. My hair is extremely thin and has been breaking off throughout the winter. Going through menopause and being diagnosed with diabetes all at the same time didn??t make things any better.
Well I finally broke down and let Wesley do my hair with Marcia. My hair ??Has Not Fallen Out? like the internet states and it??s the softest it??s ever been. Not being able to wash it for 4 days was the most difficult. Could not exercise or work in the yard during this time either. Now I did have to go back over it with my flat iron on a daily basis because it would get messed up while I was sleeping but the 4 days is the hardest part. I suggest doing it on a long weekend.
When I finally washed my hair on the 4th day it was fantastic !!!!!!!!!!!!! It took at least 10 minutes off the drying time. It??s quicker and easier to fix. I can use any kind of mouse, gel or hairspray I want. I do have to use the Keratin Shampoo but any kind of conditioner I want. If you can??t afford the shampoo you can use a store bought as long as it??s Sulfate Free.
I would suggest this product to anyone who has naturally curly hair and needs a break!

O'Haira is a GREAT place! Love the atmosphere, love the location, love the work! Cindy is a fantastic stylist and is also the ONLY person whom i would ever let around my head! :D

I really do like this shop. I love the Gone With The Wind theme. Wesley is a great stylist. He knows a lot about color. Come on out and see the place and give Wes a call.
