This place is horrible! My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception here, and they ruined our whole day.
Nothing was as the restaurant promised it would be, and once they took our money, they didn't care about us or our wedding at all.

If anyone is thinking of getting married here, DON"T! There aren't words to describe how horrible the whole thing was.

Pros: Nice View. That is the only good thing.

    Cons: Everything

    .

    1) Soup and salad did not come with entrees, we had to pay for them separately.
    2) The Dynamite Scallops plate was salty!
    3) Steak and Lobster plate was at "market price" $76.00 but no better than Sizzler's, not to mention that the steak was very small.
    4) Good service.
Ones should go there for a drink at night for the view, but try not to dine there.

    Pros: Wonderful View

    Cons: Expensive and Bad Foods

    .

The view is great, which takes away from the food. The food quality doesn't match the cost for the dishes, so that's why I say the view is the pro and con.

You can hang out by the balcony/cliff area where they have fireplaces while you wait for your table, or just go there for drinks.

The staff is professional and friendly.

They don't have that one special thing that makes me have an urgency to want to go there.

This place gets my vote because of its location, venue, decor, and fire pit. Food is not bad either. It's a good place for a date, or a group of friends to chat over drinks while sitting around the fire pit looking at the hills of orange county.

My sister and I just went here last night for my birthday. First of all, the hostess, who I called 3 times, could not give me correct directions to this place even though I asked to speak to someone else who could give me accurate directions. This place is on a street called cliff way, not chapman. Anyway, the food is bad here. I would rate the food a little higher than a tgi fridays, but 3 times the price. Seriously, kobe skewers were fatty, chewy and drenched in teriyaki sauce, maybe to hide the fact that they were so bad. Also, the calamari was not fresh, chewy too and stale. The ravioli entree was worse than a first year college dorm mate trying to cook. Do not eat here, you'll be greatly disappointed. Just get a bottle of wine, the list is extensive. Forget about getting dessert, this is really bad too, unedible. A Denny's dessert is better, that's how bad this place is.

My husband and I had dinner Saturday night because our next door neighbor had raved about her experience. I wish I could rave about our experience but I am sorry to say I cannot. We had asked our waitress for the specials because our neighbor had mention you could get an excellent dinner for under twenty dollars, the waitress told us that they had no specials. Later that night when I visited their website I found that they offer the "Sunset Dinner" for 19.95. I felt so deceived I don't understand why should would have done this, maybe to earn extra tips? I really don't know. When I tried to contact Orange Hill no one would talk to me, I left messages and no one returned my call. I finally just let it go and we will not be returning. If this happens to you, please ask to speak to the manager right then and there, I wish we did.

I took my girlfriend here for her birthday and we both absolutely loved the views. from the moment we got there, we felt important. it did take them a bit to get us seated even though i had made reservations a week in advance but once we say down, our waitress was great. She made sure we had everything and our cups were never empty not did we ever have any plates on our table for more than a few minutes. The views out of the window were incredible!! The waitress then gave my girlfriend a free slice of cheesecake for her birthday. when we were done eating, we sat on the outside balcony by a fire pit for about 20 mins and had a great time enjoying the city views. The food was a little on the dissapointing side...the cesar salad was a bit lacking, the salmon was a little too dry for my taste and my prime rib was cooked rare instead of medium and my mashed potatoes seemed too bland also. For the price of the food, it definitely wasn't 5 star dining but the entire ambiance and experience of the place made up for it. But then once we went outside, the valet seemed too interested in my girlfriend then getting my car and was very unproffesional in the way he presented himself and the valet service. He kept staring at her as she got in the car and then while i was walking around to the other side kept looking through the door at her...that lost him his tip. there was those few bad things but overall the experience was good. I wouldn't go there again just because i'd like to try other places but i would definitely reccomend it for a special occasion of any sorts

We had relatives in town and wanted to try something new. This restaurant has been around for a long time but I'd never gone. We arrived at 5:45 (reservation was for 6:00) and had drinks in the bar. I asked for a view table but was told there were none available. After drinks we moved to our spectacular corner table with a full view of the city below. (am not sure how that happened!) We were offered the sunset menu ($20 for salad, entree + dessert) and all 5 of us ordered from it. No one was disappointed, in fact every one of us raved about the salmon, prime rib and chicken entrees we were served. I cannot recommend this establishment enough! We all had a wonderful evening.

We planned to have a happy birthday night but it becomes to a nightmare when we sat for 15 minutes and the waiter never took our order. He attended all table around us but never stop in our. We had to stand up and go to another restaurant. This restaurant is not as good as it seem. I really don't recommend it.

My family and I wanted to have some late-night dessert and enjoy the view. We were told that the dinning room was only for people eating dinner and if we wanted to just have dessert we'd either have to sit at the bar or outside (it was raining). Neither of these horrible options appealed to us and we left. I am still sorely disappointed that the restaurant discriminates against patrons who choose not to eat dinner. If they had allowed us to eat in the dinning room we'd probably be there every weekend. Their dessert is decent - its kind of hard to ruin cakes. But the dinner menu isn't anything special.

This is one of the best restaurants experience we ever had. The food was of highest quality, service was professional and attentive, great ambiance and wonderful views. We ordered the Kobi Skewers and baked Brie appetizers, Cider Plank Salmon and Fillet Oscar, for dessert we had the Chocolate pyramid and Sorbet, they were all very delicious and well presented, the staff was helpfully and accommodating. We had a great bottle of wine Duck horn Pinot noir. We will be visiting Orange hill Restaurant more often and we will recommend it to all our friends. Thank you for a wonderful experience

I just got home from CA. I was visiting my daughter in Huntington Beach and she took me here last Saturday night. I have eaten in many places, however this was by far the most spectacular view and perfect staff ever. From the moment we turned up the rode to the moment we sat down, breathtaking. The dinner could not have been better, the desert spectacular. The service phenominal. I would recommend everyone try Orange County. My prime rib was the best I have EVER had. The entire evening could not have been anymore perfect.

The restaurant sits on top of the hills of Orange with beautiful views from Orange County to Catalina Island. Large, cozy, cascading waterfalls and koi ponds. Serves dinner daily, but the Sunday Brunch is my all time favorite. It's pricy about $30. per person.

I have eaten in some of the best restaurants in the world, but this experience I had at Orange Hill was one of the most memorable I have had in a long time. My wife and I recently had dinner reservations on a Monday night. When we decided to eat at Orange Hill we remembered the last time we had dinner there, in the summer of 2000. It was very bad; I remember having ordered the king crab carbonara, which was served very cold, tasted flavorless, and we received it one hour after we had ordered it. I asked for the manager; he came out to our table to see what the problem was and discuss our concerns. While at our table, the manager seemed more interested in my wife than our experience and unhappiness. Anyway, our recent second experience was excellent. I ordered the special that night, a peppered crusted dry aged NY steak with a sour mash whiskey sauce, truffled popcorn, and a stuffed tomato with creamed leeks and chive oil. My wife ordered the swordfish with a reisling vinaigrette and fennel salad. Everybody knows Orange Hill Restaurant's view is great, especially now that the food matches the view.

Simply said "I LOVE this place!" I have been going here for over 10 years and let me tell you that it keeps getting better and better. I mean come on first of all, how can you do better than that amazing view. We went there last week for dinner with my wife and another couple and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were catered to and shown such great service and attention. Now to the food.... We had the most amazing steaks ever! I had their NY with macaroni and cheese (and a leafy green that I cannot remember the name of it; collard greens?...not sure) my wife had their Filet with Pinot Noir sauce and she was very happy our guests had the Lamb and the Filet Oscar and they both said they were amazing dishes. The server was perfect, attentive, courteous and not overberring (hovering... I hate that!). The dishes were beautifully presented as well. We love this restaurant as I already said and we will be coming back many more times! Keep up the good work on the hill!

A dining experience like no other! Orange Hill is one of the most unique and elegant restaurants you'll find. This place has the most amazing views and ambiance to go along with it's amazing cusine. On our visit everyone was extremely helpful from the front desk to the bus staff - the manager even came by to see how we were doing! The food - Amazing!!! To start I had the Kobe Beef skewers YUMMY! Tasty and super tender. For dinner I had the Filet Oscar style - what a treat (I know, I know....Meat and then more meat...But how could I resist). At the end we kept it simple and went for their house made upside down apple walnut pie with cinnamon ice cream - GREAT! If looking to impress or just want to have the best there is then I highly reccomend Orange HIll for any night out! Oh and I hear they have a great Sunday brunch too - I am gonna have to check that out - will re-post here and let y'all know how that goes - I am sure it will impress as well! Chow!!!!

We went to Orange Hill last Thursday night for a business dinner and let me tell you - this place is tops! Upon arriving the ever so attentive valet greeted us promtly and were very courteous and professional. The walkway was a treat in itself with waterfalls and a koi pond - SO NICE! We entered the lobby (we were a party of four) and were greeted promptly by the smiling host staff whom accomodated us right away (we wanted a window table so they did not have a window right away but they suggested the bar or patio with fire pits while we wait for one - no problem - we wanted a window so we waited). The patio was impressive framing the expansive view which was unbelievable - the cocktail staff were courteous,m freindly and effecient. Within 1/2 hour (which flew by as we were enjoying the patio) we got our window! We were brought to our table by a freindly hostess (can't remember the name!) who even brought us black napkins (Nice touch when you are wearing a black suit). The waitress approched our table and was smiling, informative and very attentive. The food - This was amazing - We started out with the duo of scallop and prawn and their baked brie - to die for - then we had their green salad - which was great as well. The entrees were terrific as well - I had the Chilean Sea Bass which was phenominal and the other guests in my party had beef dishes and said they ranked up there with the best they had ever had. I must say that we will be enjoying not only more business dinners at the Orange Hill, but my family will also be coming back many times. It is hard to find great food, great service and great ambiance all in one place today and Orange Hill definately over delivers on all these and more. Don't miss this place!

It is hard to find great food, great service and great ambiance all in one place today and Orange Hill definately over delivers on all these and more. Don't miss this place!

The Saturday Brunch at Orange Hill was absolutely fantastic! We were greeted by very courteous hostess. She got us seated quickly. Our server ensured our plates were cleared as soon as we finished. And got us what ever we needed. We all loved the wonderful variety of food offered. The Restaurant was really clean and well maintained. The food was fantastic everything was hot and fresh. We had a family gathering and everyone agreed this was by far the best brunch for quality and price. We are going to have our next family outing at the Orange Hill Restaurant. I will be recommending this restaurant to clients and friends.

Knowing this is one of the most popular brunch locations for Mother's Day I made my reservation well in advance (over 3 weeks). We got there about 20 minutes early so I checked in with the hostess (who were very rude and not very attentive - in fact I had to say "hello" first after standing in front of them for over a minute). I checked back after 20 minutes and saw we were 2 tickets away. Another 10 minutes goes by and we are still all standing around. Meanwhile people who came in after me had already been seated. I checked the desk again and a woman in front of me was complaining to the hostess. She stated she was very sorry for the wait and their party was her priority and she would be the next to be seated. So I walked over and asked the woman what time her reservation was and she was 30 minutes later than mine! I saw them finally hand our ticket off and we headed to our seat at the far end of the restaurant. We walked by plenty of food stations, which looked good and since we were 30 minutes after our reservation (50 minutes of standing around) we were ready to eat! We get to the dining room and there is no table available. Slight mix up and they ask us to stand around while they bus a table (with a view so ok we can wait). Seconds turned into minutes...10 actually and still no bussed table. The seater comes back and says follow me I have a much better table for you. We walk all the way back to the opposite side of the restaurant where we are seated in the middle of the room...this is better then the view?? We sat down 40 minutes after our reservation time. We had two babies - no highchairs. He promises to be right back - he never came back. We finally get seated. Food was just ok...lot's of things were gone. The omelett guy was never around. Multiple plates were dirty. Bill was wrong 3 times. For a rest. famous and always sold out for Mother's Day I would have thought they could have done much better! For a $500+ meal I expect better.

    Pros: Nice view

Cons: Bad for holiday or special occasion

    .

I'm pretty selective when it comes to restaurants, so any restaurant that has bad service automatically is scratched off my list of restaurants worth recommending. However, I made an exception today - for Orange Hill Mother's Day Brunch. Because I had made reservations a month in advance, I didn't want to cancel, although I was so tempted. When I called to confirm my reservation, the woman who answered the phone was extremely rude.

I don't care whether she had PMS or if she is a miserable human being at all times, when you are hired to offer good customer service, you better leave your bad attitude at home.
Anyway, I hoped that her rudness was not contagious and that other staff members would be courteous the next day.

Needless to say, I expected the worst (I had very low expectations), but was determined to enjoy the holiday with my family. To my surprise, the experience was wonderful (I did avoid the front desk women - I could see that they were surly and some flustered - probably from the hectic schedule they had on Mother's Day).

The restaurant has a beautiful view, the food was in abundance (what you would expect from a brunch) and luckily the waiter was so nice (Dave or David). Not sure if all the other waiters are as nice and professional as he was, but I was happy to meet him. Just a quick note: their regular brunch does not offer as many selctions as they prepare on special holidays - but I'm sure you'll have enough to eat from a variety of foods (meats, seafood, omlettes, desserts), etc.

I will go back again, next time for dinner - check out their patio and fire pits/side table. You'll be hearing from me for sure if my next culinary experience is unsavory. By the way, this brunch was 10 times better than the St. Regis brunch and less expensive.

Orange Hill Restaurant is great for special occassions; from the moment you start up the driveway, you know this restaurant is set apart from others. The view is wonderful and the seating is arranged so that everyone enjoys it. We had heard about the delicious calamari but did not find it on the menu. We mentioned it to our waiter and he was all to happy to accommodate us. The service was p-e-r-f-e-c-t. Not fussy, yet very professional, he made us feel comfortable and was there for our every need. He allowed us to enjoy our conversation but seemed to know just when to come around. The food itself wasn't extraordinary. This restaurant is not about the food as much as it is the atmosphere. I would recommend it and plan to return.

I took my girlfriend to Orange Hill on Valentine's day and I don't know if it was my timing but the service was awful. The waitress seemed to have next to no knowledge of the menu. When we asked for tea she said they had two kinds. My girlfriend decided on Earl Grey. As it was brought out to us the table next to us was able to choose out of the large tea selection, and we weren't even given any sugar or milk.

I know it was Valentine's day and they might have hired and trained quickly for the rush they expected (45 minute wait and there were 7 empty tables around us), but when the meal costs close to $300 for two people I expect a LOT more.

The food was forgettable. I've had better steak, seafood for 30 times less, with 100% better service than I got here.

    Save your money.

My boyfriend surprised me with this for this past Valentine's Day. It was the most perfect place and romantic evening for the two of us. The menu was special for Valentine's Day and everything we ordered was so good. We enjoyed a nice bottle of wine and a great view of the lights down below. It was a little cold after but the fires were perfect to sit around and just enjoy each other and our evening out. The staff was so friendly and by the end of the evening we felt like we had been going there every Sunday our whole lives. It was well worth the drive up the hill you think you are going to fall off. It is such a beautiful place. Take the time to take someone special there for a treat.

Orange Hill Restaurant will always be my first choice when friends come to CA to visit. The atmosphere is very pleasant with coy ponds, waterfalls and a fireplace. The view of the city lights is beautiful and the food has been excellent every time I've gone there. I particularly like their Filet Mignon. The do, however, need to lose the music on their website.

As some people may know, the Orange Hill restaurant is a very nice place for fine dining located on top of the hill (Orange Hill). They have got good food and a fairly reasonable price.

What I really like about this restaurant is their atmosphere. Especially when it is sunset, the sunlight produces a very romantic atmosphere. Try this place for some special occasions like, anniversary or Birthdays. With your beloved one or with your family...either way you will have a great time!

After the meal, take a little walk to the outside balcony(even when it's cold!!!) and enjoy the night view~. You can see the fire works from Disneyland too!

    Price: $25.00 - $40.00

The drive up to Orange Hill gets you jumpy and nervous, perhaps scared out of your wits. It's a narrow road, along a steep hill. But when you arrive at the door, the trip up is well worth it.

The restaurant is gorgeous, with soft lights shining and cozy fireplaces to toast your toes by. The veranda is simply beautiful, you can walk under it twenty times and still enjoy it.

The food is elegantly displayed in the banquet halls, which is the only experience I have of Orange Hill. The food is tasty and the desert is divine. There is many photo opportunities in Orange Hill, as it's balcony looks over the city below. Plus the interior decoration is quite stylish.

The only thing that may be unpleasing to anyone is the scary trip up the hill and the wonderful view of the city...and it's ashy pollution.

My boyfriend and I dined here for our Anniversary, before our reservations I had read a few unsatisfied reviews and it made me a little iffy about the place, however, I have to say everything from the food and service was great. Both my boyfriend and I had the Prime Top Sirlon and they were delicious. Also, a couple next to us had the lobster tail which looked delicious and tasty! Not to mention the incredible view this restaurant has of Orange County. I can say this is the best place in town! We got seated within two minutes of walking in the door, and in top of that there was a holiday party going on. Everyone was dressed very nice, I saw many women wearing dresses and men wearing ties. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I took my girlfriend to this restaurant for our anniversary and I could honestly say it wasn't anything special. I had the ny steak medium rare but that thing was more rare than medium rare. My girlfriend had the salmon and she said it was okay. She wasn't blown away by it but she said it was good. We had the calamari for an appetizer and it was the better than the steak and the salmon. The service was average. The server seemed pretty unprofessional. So the food and the service was average but I was blown away by how nice it was. Driving up the the restaurant, the trees were lit up and there was a nice fireplace and pond outside. Also, the view was fantastic.

This was my second time dining at this superb restaurant. My first time dining there was nearly twenty years ago and it was exactly as I remembered it. This time, it was for my fiance's birthday and the experience was better than I had expected it to be. The view was spectacular once the sun had set and I thought the fire pits out on the patio just added to the romantic setting. I do suggest making reservations well in advance and arriving early if you want to request a window seat. I have to deduct the first point for lack of service in the cocktail lounge. I had to get up myself to flag down a cocktail waitress "mingling" just twenty feet away only to be disappointed by a sub par pomegranate martini. Although, the lemon drop was fairly good. Next, we are off to our table and to be honest, I had my doubts from the mixed reviews I had read about the service. However, our waiter had changed that with the first-rate service he gave us. He was very attentive with good timing and we felt comfortable throughout the entire evening. The food was savory not to mention the delicious complementary birthday cheesecake for my fiance. The calamari appetizer was the best I've had. The only other point I have to deduct was due to the Ahi being served cold, but our waiter had fixed this within five minutes. After dinner, we relaxed at our table enjoying the view with our wine. Speaking of which, they have an excellent wine selection and the Mondavi was a great choice for a cabernet sauvignon. Although there were plenty of other people dining, it was still a very intimate dining experience. I highly recommend this place!

From the moment we entered until we parted, the experience at this CLASS A establishment was awe inspiring!
This was a second date with a very special gentleman and my birthday. As we drove up the winding road to the top of this breathtaking view, you could tell you were in for something special. The valet parking is a wonderful touch to the all around experience. The moment I saw all of the twinkly lights from the "OC", my breath was taken away.
Upon entering and announcing our arrival, I was wished a "Happy Birhtday" from the wonderfully bubby receptionist.
Our waiter, Russell, was a joy. He didn't rush us, or keep coming back to see if we were ready to order. Instead, he would just kind of 'peek in on us' to see if we needed more water, tea, bread, or anything else.
We sat and watched the lights and talked for nearly 30minutes before we ordered. All the while, knowing we were being well watched after by Russell. We never once felt 'hurried.' The food arrived much quicker than I expected and was absolutely delicious...how could it have been any different? Between my date, the food, and the lights out in front of me, it was a perfect evening!!!
After dinner, the plates were removed and there was Russell, making sure we were comfortable. What an experience.
My date and birthday will be remembered as one of the 'best' I have had!!! We fully intend to come back during the summer when we can sit out on the patio and feel the warm SO CAL breezes while we eat.
Thank you Russell, and thank you "Kelly" for an amazing evening!!! I won't be forgetting this evening for a long time.
I would suggest if you are looking for one of the most beautiful evenings you have had, you should seriously consider joining the ranks of us that loved what we were given at this very fine establishment...

The service here is so horrendous, so inattentive and so rude that it spoils the view, and ruined our night. We were a party of 14 celebrating a small family reunion. Like another reviewer, we had to ask for water three times before anyone paid attention. The sommalier must certainly be a phony. When he brought our Spanish wine to the table and I asked if it was a Tempranillo (a common Spanish grape,) he had no idea and had to read the label, constantly changing his mind. Then he started pouring before the host had even tasted it. (Isn't part of the price at a good restaurant supposed to be for a properly executed and magical meal?) When one of our guests sent her steak back to be cooked just a little more, it didn't return until EVERYONE ELSE was finished!! And finally, the dessert tray was brought to the middle of the table so that people on either end couldn't hear what he was saying. When my wife asked to get a closer look, he muttered something under his breath and rolled his eyes before shoving it under her nose. And the food? Seriously...this is as close to restaurant fraud as one gets. Don't be held hostage to "the view." There are plenty of other magical restaurants in Orange County with great ambience and wonderful food.

The server was inattentive, and we had to make several requests for drink refills, even going so far as to ask two other employees before receiving our first soft drink refill. The soft drinks were extra, with no free refills, so you would have thought they'd want to sell more!
Quality of food was inconsistent. Prime rib was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The chicken, however, was extremely dry. The breakfast items such as french toast, eggs, etc. were taken away too early, to be replaced by lunch/dinner items that were already available at three other serving areas.

The food quality and service did not live up to the $100 pricetag, before tip, for two people.

The tables were too close together. The view was, indeed, as wonderful as everyone has said.

I had gone to this place with my father several times as a little girl and was reminded of this hidden gem by a friend of mine who got married there several months ago. So I made a date with my bf and surprised him by taking him to Orange Hill.

The restaurant was just as I remembered it (if a little smaller than it appears in my childhood mind's eye). Elegantly appointed, but not overdone. We were lucky enough to be seated at one of the tables against the expansive windows and enoyed our cocktails and hors d'oeuvres as the last bit of orange glow disappeared over the horizon.

As many other reviewers have mentioned, the fare was good but not great. You definitely feel like you're paying a hidden surcharge for the spectacular view. But if ambiance is what you're looking for, rather than a 5 star meal this is your place. The atmosphere in Orange Hill is effortlessly romantic. That being said, my bf and I will definitely follow the lead of some of the other reviewers by patronizing OH for cocktails and the view while having dinner elsewhere.

The service was good (again, nothing spectacular, but good). We were seated promptly and our server was friendly and attentive. One thing my bf didn't love about the service was that the bussers seemed to hover in anticipation of his finishing so they could whisk away his plate.

One more thing I'd like to add is that the martini list was great with offbeat selections!

Overall, this is a great date spot, even if it's your "drinks before dinner" selection, you will be sure to impress if you take her (or him!) to Orange Hill.

not the best food i've every tasted, but the view adds extra flavors to the food and made it an awesome experience.

I went there for a wedding dinner. We suppose to have reservation for 7:30 didn't get in till 9:00. They book 2 parties for the same night. We had a pre fix menu. The kids had past on the squash and carrot the youngest didn't care for it. The only thing that have to drink was wine or water. Nothing for people who didn't drink or anyone under 21. There was no refill and it took the waiter long time to refill the water glass. For $50 a person they could've done a better job coffee came after the cake and as right as people was leaving. The only good part about the restaurant was the view.

What a great place for food, wine and a Fabulous view all of OC and parts of LA. I went with my husband for our 15th anniversary and we haven't been there in 3 years but 1 of our friends told us about how the place has changed. Their Executive Chef Jason Pena stopped by our table and actually talked to us for a few minutes and talked about the changes he and the general manager Steve Meek have made since his arrival in . We asked the chef for the copy of the menu and he was more than willing to give us one. The Lamb was excellent it was pinenut crusted and served with a blueberry merlot sauce that was to die for. And the barramundi which is similar to a seabass was served with saffron rice and a plum vanilla sauce. People say the place is overpriced but i am a foodie and compared to other places that i do go and eat this establishment has great prices for great food with a view!!

While the view is great, the food is mediocre, the service is terrible and the prices of food are on the side of outrageous. I had to ask three times just to get a plain glass of ice water. Save your money, go somewhere else.

Lets get right to it, nothing special, nothing worth waiting for (because you will wait, up to an hour, when its not busy), service is horrible to say the least. Everyone that works there seems to think big ego's are hip for 2006. The entry way hostess could care less about seating people, she was busy eating candy and fixing her bra (flirting with the valet boys). Horrible! These people are there to work, not hang out! Low class place trying to bring about high paying customers. Don't waste your time or money on this, view or not. Dangerous drive up the hill. Dont let 16 year kids park your car! Valet consist of two kids and a very angry manager!

If you wanted to see a great view of the city then this restaurant is the place, but if you wanted to have a great meal or have a romantic dinner with the special someone, go somewhere else. I made reservation at this place about 7:30, got there about 10 minutes early, but they didn't give us a table until 8ish. All the tables were so close together that you can barely hear your own conversation but you can hear the conversation of the table behind and the one next to your table. The food was horrible. They put so much wasabi on the meat that I could not taste anything except the overpowering taste of wasabi. The meat was so chewy that I forced myself to swallow instead of spitting it back out.

View is awsome, if your a local you know you can get there before 9:45 for a $14 brunch instead of $25ish.. Food and Selection are always very good. GO and GO OFTEN

Never got a chance to have brunch, but viewed a picked over dry mess. We were early for our reservation and were told we would be seated in 5 min. 35 min. later, after several rude interactions with the manager, and one outburst. The manager called the police. The police came, but nothing was said to us. We then decided Orange Hill was not a place we would want to spend our money. The funny thing; we spent $8,500 2 months ago on a 50th Anniversity party for our parents at this restaurant.

The view is worth the price of the so-so food. We found the service to be good and the view is amazing especially for out of towners! The wine selection was also very good. Our party had such a good time on the patio with the merlot and the fireside coversation, we weren't totally let down by the food.
