Mario's Restaurant

The food at this place is great, but I stopped coming here because of the staff. Some of them behave as if they do not even want you there, and can not be bothered to ask you if you want refills, and then when you flag them down for a refill they act irritated.

Also they advertise lunch specials on a white board, and when I attempted to order the special, they charged me full price for a slightly different dish than what I asked for and when I attempted to get it straightened out, I was stone walled and told that I was the one mistaken when it was the waitress who was responsible for the mistake.

That shows me that they are not concerned with customer service because they have people coming in there all the time and could care less if a few people are dissatisfied with the service. That alone makes me mad, because their attitudes are lousy, and are in bad need of adjusting!

We are from Texas and Mario's is the closest we can get to our "Tex-Mex". Quiet atmosphere, good service and great food. One of our favorite family restaurants.

For good, old school Mexican food in HB, go to Mario's in 5 Points. They have great food, great service and lots to choose from. We hit Mario's about once a week.

If you are in the "5 points shopping center" in HB, it is a convenient place to eat after shopping. Atmosphere kind of dull, chips and salsa not bad. Friendly staff just stick to the cheese enchaladas

There food is ok. The Restaurant is always crowdred. They have good chips and there drinks are good they always have buy one free coupons in most HB Papers.

First of all Marios salsa is one of the best red-sauce salsas ever. The atmosphere is authentic and has cozy lighting to enjoy dinner. The bar is awesome place to catch a game or get a frosty magarita. They have space for parties which is nice for birthdays or meetings. The food is authentic and very yummy. The carne asada burritos and cheese chips are realy good. Overall Marios is a great place to hang out with friends or family.

You can tell by how busy this place is and how long you have to wait for a table that the food is going to be good. very authentic flavors, everything tastes home made, Chicken tacos are awesome. They have a dish called mexican pizza that is different but really good. Carnitas is excellent. This is probably one of the best Mexican restaurants in HB. Two locations both very good. The bartender pours an excellent Cadilac Margarita. CHEERS!

Definitively much better than Chevy's and other those "mexican restaurants" with american taste.
The food is tasty and the portion is quite big, hopefully you are hungry.
The price of each dish is about $10

Mario's has the best Mexican food in Orange County. You will not find any Americanized food here. The food is great. The staff is friendly. They have the best chips and salsa that I have ever tasted. Their food is addicting. No one has ever come close. Everytime that I am in the area I have to stop by. Stop by and see.
