DONT GO HERE EVER...if only 0 stars were an option
I wondered, upon my first visit, why this new-looking and seemingly clean place would be the deadest spot on the block. Now I know.
1. They do not have a phone available to their employees to answer (they allegedly DO have one...its in the office...and it does not EVER get answered (2 out of 102 times)
2. They also do not have an answering machine
3. The manager, Trent, is the definition of a a**hole
I brought a group of 50+ on a dead wednesday evening for a professional mixer for an events-industry association for which am president of the local chapter. Things went just fine I guess- the bartendress and server were very sweet
Between running the mixer, answering questions from members and students, and communicating with clients at the same time via mobile mail, I managed to leave a sweater my father had given me. It is a special sweater...both due to its origin and because of the sentimental meaning it has to me.
I called the restaurant to see if they had it (at this point, I was nearly home). It was one of two times I managed to call AND have someone answer. I spoke with Trent, the manager who said he had the sweater, and that I could pick it up anytime.
After that, I called the restaurant to see if I could come by several times over three weeks. Each time, I would call about 10 times in a row, let it ring (it takes ten times before essentially shutting you down) and then set an alarm to call back in a couple of hours...and would do this every two or three days.
I finally went in-person to retrieve my sweater...this place is NOT closer to my home, or my office, and considering I work an average of about 85 hours a week, Its ard for me to find 1.5 hours to make the round-trip trip.
When I was in, they didn't have the sweater, and could not locate a manager. I asked for a call back and did not receive one. When I finally did get a call, it was from an employee who informed me that Trent was "sick" and would not be returning my call.
Last night I found out what happened to my sweater- Having mentioned my troubles several times to other members of the association, our student ambassador (who happened to be in the area) stopped in to pick it up a little over a week ago (about 2 weeks and two days later). She apparently got the fine pleasure (extreme sarcasm) of meeting Trent in person. He told her he remembered talking to me, knew who's sweater it was, and donated it. She said his attitude was unbelievable.
I was speechless, furious, and...well...yeah both of those! Had he told me they donated clothes left behind every two weeks, I would have driven down regardless of not being able to contact anyone in advance (I was trying to avoid a situation in which I drove down and it was slammed...or closed). I know i am at fault for leaving it...but I could not believe that, having talked to me personally (AND REMEMBERING) and knowing that the sweater carried tons of sentimental value, he would do it...when they make themselves completely unavailable to phone calls or emails.
I know this place is not long for this world...THANK GOD...I cant wait for them to close down...so I can dance on their metaphorical grave!

This place is terrible! servers are rude. instead of getting our drinks and taking our order she walked over to Starbucks. place should be shut down. new management is needed!

Not the best place to go for families. So a few sundays ago
I came here with my sister and my niece and nephews. I knew that this placed served brunch, but I also knew that they were a bar with a big sport night crowd. I'm already

I have never write any review before, especially a bad one. The experiences I had with this place motivate me to send the words out to want others. I went there on Saturday May 7 2011, it was a boxing night so there were a lot of people,

After reading the reviews, I had mixed feelings. Some were good and some were bad. I decided to see for myself. I was really satisfied with the drinks and the place, this is fun place to just hang out with some friends and have a great time. You can even watch the game?so I would say it was great.

title says it all. when on a light night takes 20 mins for drinks, another 20 for burnt chicken appitizer. and waiter with attitude and no time for you even though less than ten people in whole place. very poor. I complained about the unedible food and did nothing. so no tip needless to say. good reviews must be the employees

Worst Service ever Bouncer's try to over use there authority. I got there like around 9:30 & they told me if I would of been there before 8:00 p.m. it would of been ok. I got kicked out this weekend from there for having Jersey on after 8:00.... There was more people with Jersey's on, but supposably they were there before 8:00. All I have to say Is F___k "Joel" Head of Security

I don't think the bouncers realize that this establishment is a business. Just because people are in your club doesn't mean you can treat them any way you want. Just like any business if you do not treat your paying customers right, they will not be back and an unsatisfied customer is most likely to tell others about their bad experiences. With that said I don't know if I just encountered someone who was in a bad mood or what, but lets try to treat your customers professionally and don't make inappropriate comments when it's their own fault they have let too many people in the club and people cannot move around properly. Management talk with you people.

I recommend you go for the happy hour at this place. They have a really great discount menu and cheap beers.
The food is pretty good. The service is pretty good. No complaints, really.
If you go at night, it will be packed... so show up early if you want a seat.
Great place for watching sports. Very popular for UFC fights, etc...

i love goin down to beachfront...yes, its usually crowded...but its spread out enough that you dont feel overwhelmed. whether goin just to eat, watch a game/fight...or goin out for drinks/dancing- it doesnt disappoint!
4Next time you are in Huntington Beach, take a stroll down Main St. I like relaxing at this bar. The food is great and the bar is outstanding. The service is amazing.
4This place is great. The crowd is really laid back. It's really crowded on the weekends, especially during the busy tourist time, but that is because of the location.
4this place is great. if you wanna hit a popular bar go in the evenings. if you wanna grab some awesome food go at dinner time. Some of the best meals around. Wanna know a deal. If you're going to dine, go for their "happy hour," incredible food and super cheap prices. they've got a $1, $2, $3, $4 menu that's killer during happy hour and the drinks are cheap too. On Main St. near tons of cool stuff. Minutes from the ocean. After you eat go for a stroll down the pier. A must 'go to' place.

I have yet to have a bad experience at this place. The owner was really cool to us, reasonalbly priced drinks, great atmosphere. Also a good place to watch the UFC fights! The only con is the line and max capacity of weekend nights.
Best bar in downtown HB!
Pro: Great place!
Con: Parking and crowded

Beachfront is the best place to go, you meet single's and and just hang out, the food was great and the service was even better. I love going there for sporting events, their t.v's are amazing, and they show every big event. But on fri and sat getting there early is a must if you want to avoid the lines. I give it a big thumbs up. Oh and the Ambiance is beautiful!

So I get to this place on a Sunday morning at about 10:00 A.M.. There are only about 7 or so people there, which doesn't bother me. When you walk in, there's a sign that clearly states that you have to seat yourself. So I do. As I'm sitting there, waiting for a waiter or waitress to come over to take my order, a few more people walk into the resturant and sit down at tables across the resturant from me. This also doesn't bother me. It takes a little while for the waiters and waitresses to come out of the back, but when they do, they take the orders of the people who came in AFTER me. Now let's note that I am not hidden at all where I'm sitting at, but I was appalled. To my knowledge, and people can correct me if I'm wrong, I believe it's suppost to be first come first serve. When the waitress finally comes over to take my order, after 10 minutes of me sitting there (which is no joke), she's not friendly or very attentive. Even though I'm friendly to her the whole time I'm there (including saying please, thank you, smiling when she talks to me), she doesn't smile and instead has this passive whatever attitude about her. I found it to be very rude. This goes on for the rest of the meal. The food itself was fine as was the place itself. The service, however, could have been more friendly and attentive. Needless to say, I only left a 4 dollar tip and wrote a note on the back of the receipt as to why. It seems to me that people need to stop leaving their manners at home.

I've been going to this place for many fri and sat nights and this place is awesome. But you got to get there early so you can avoid the lines. They truly have the best happy hour in town and when it comes to any major sporting event, be sure to go down there

The general manager is a complete a hole, and his little brother is a drunk. As long as you don't run in to these two.... then you just might have a good time. One thing I will say is that the food is pretty bad, and the place is anything but elegant. Other than that it's a good place to socialize with the typical OC crowd mixed in with some 909 that drive an hour every weekend to feel cool.

Cons: Girls wearing rocket dogs
The bar was great, happy hour was very reasonable. But one of the bouncers named TRENT gave us such a hard time. He accused us of having fake ID's, when really we're just asian and look really young. I was so offended. He went on and on about threatening to kick us out when finally we just took our business elsewhere. I'd definitely go there again, but I would leave as soon as I saw him.

I called to make reservations , for three, and the first thing he hostess says to me is" Are you gonna buy a bottle or not." It was very rude. I'm from out of town and wanted to try their place. I didn't even make it to the door...

If you are up to having a good time in HB look no further than 301. With over 18 plasmas, Beachfront 301 shows all major sporting events including UFC's. And when the lights go down....Be sure to stick around 'cause the dj's are dope.
