We stepped in expecting to get a slice of pizza "boston style"..little did we realize we were in for a slice of heaven. Granted we have lived in Boston and New York and we are aware of the pizza selection and this pizza puts the rest to shame. From the crispy crust to the fresh cheese the ever friendly environment of the staff and the refills on the soda this place is one of a kind and if you live in the US you should make your next road trip to this fine establishment nessled in the beautiful quaint village of WestWood, CA. There is nothing as good, this is the best pizza there is! Not to mention the prices are affordable and the ziti will give you a reason to pick up your keyboard and email your momma and tell her you just had the best.

I had the #2 Lunch Special which includes 2 slices, salad and a drink. Wow! Too much food for me and I have a big appetite. The topping choices were fantastic, I had a slice of their Classic and Meat Lover's, both were exceptional. The salad was much more that a mere side salad on a small plate and it was delicious as well. The pizza crust was the highlight, thin, crisp and foldable for devouring. Highly recommended!

Pros: Great lunch specials

Cons: Finding a parking spot in Westwood

This place has the best pizza ever! I was doubtful when my boyfriend swore by it, but I must agree with him now. There are a lot of options as far as veggies or combos. The pizza is also very inexpensive and moderately priced. Sometimes the place is abit overcrowded, but once you go you understand why. It's very tempting to not go eat there every night! Highly recommend it!

I ordered delivery from D'amores because it's close to my apartment., and I LOVE their pizza. I ordered the ham and pineapple combo , and it tasted very healthy (think and crisp) like New York Pizza. Though I have to say the prices were kind of high... I ordered an extra large pizza and it came up out $27 (which was a good size for four girls), but each of us ate 3 pieces each and we were content (not extremely full).

Pros: great tasting pizza, healthier than others

I like D'Amore's because a slice of cheese pizza has only around 160 calories (as it is advertised on the sign), and still tastes good. It's thin crust, so if you are really hungry go for 2 slices. I get it to go because I work in the area - I never see anyone eating in, and the guys working there are slow, distracted and not particularly great servers. Parking is awful in Westwood unless you park in the Broxton lot, which is free for the first two hours (in the daytime only). The garlic knots with marinara dip are great.

Pros: Healthy, tasty

Cons: Service, always empty

It was good thin crust and apparantly it's healthy. If you're in Westwood walking, stop by, but not worth it enough to go out of your way

i took friends here and they hated it (they were coming off dorm food though--what do they know!?) anyway, the pizza IS good and fresh but the drunken douchebags who play on the internet all day who call themselves "servers" are horrible--just take your pizza and go, man, go. i swear, i was so tempted to walk out of there since no one was around. when we finally found them so we could pay, theyre like, ummm, what did you order again.

you can tell people have learned their lesson bc no one ever eats in there, free wi-fi or no free wi-fi. and just in case you didnt get enough carbs, order some garlic knots too.

you can park on broxton, the first two hours are free.

I am another one of those transplanted east coasters who has grown weary of signs of "authentic" east coast pizza, New York this and Brooklyn that.. I have found that anyone can hang a sign and have nothing to back it up with. I had almost given up when I saw D'Amore's Pizza mentioned on Oprah by Renee Zellwiger. So, I gave it one more shot...And FINALLY my search was over..this is it!! The crust was thin and crisp, cheese melted in your mouth and the flavor- Incredible! As a bonus I found out how heathy it was! This pizza is a MUST try...all the other patrons were just as amazd as I was. This is 5 stars all the way!

We just ordered a food delivery for 12 people - 3 "family-size" pizzas and a salad - for $80 - which means we paid almost $19 per pizza and $13 for a salad - all of which are really only large-size anywhere else. To top it off, they brought only 4 garlic knots - for 12 people! For all the money we spent, you'd think they could be a little more generous.

I don't care how good D'Amore's ingredients are - there are plenty of other places in LA whose pizza is just as good. I'm from Boston, and I don't care if the water comes from there - it doesn't justify these outrageous prices, especially since they've obviously been trying to earn our business, inundating us with flyers. I told them to forget it - we'll never order from them again!

Pros: Friendly, Inexpensive, Delicious

Cons: , Should be one on each, corner of the street

(I know because I inquire) Water shipped in from NY. Only the best flour and Olive Oil used in the dough instead of Lard like the chain restaurants....THIS is Pizza Done RIGHT!!......The product is fresh! It's like eating pizza in NY.
and the garlic knots....They're ADDICTIVE!!

I eat healthy and I cook for a living....and this is the ONLY pizza I will eat in LA.

Fresh Tomato, Fresh Basil and roasted garlic slice...is simple...and simple at it's best...The Veg slice is NOT boring! Seasoned just right.
you'll need to fold your slice in 1/2...as the portions are more than hearty!
The parking in back is free. and the cooks are so awesome that they'll let you walk through their work area (be courteous) to get to the front....THIS alone should let you know that it's a great place to eat...if you can SEE the kitchen....it's good food...and sanitary!!!

this pizza is good. reminds me of pizza i had in hoboken, nj. except the slices are a bit smaller. generous amounts of cheese and sauce. and the thin crust taste fresh and natural. this pizza even tastes great microwaved the day after unlike dominos and pizza hut. i would definitely try this place out with their buy 1 get 1 free citysearch promo.
