I think they are great--dont understand the negatives about them. My 15yr old cat had a tumor removed by this hip and turned out to be cancerous. Couple days after he was not doing well and they put him in their hospital for 18 hours and did not charge me. Had the stiches removed 2 wks later and he was doing great. Then couple days later another large tumor seemed to appear overnite, near where the other was and his leg swelled up twice the size of the other, and he was not eating or drinking hardly anything. I had to put him down, broke my heart--and they did not charge me anything They all put their arms around me to calm me down -I was so upset.
They were all great.

They are a total rip off and I have reported them to the ASPCA and PETA for they way they treated my cat. I have been a customer of there since 1998, but since they opened the new building it seems as they are looking to cover the construction cost. I have a Persian cat that requires shaving every year. Since AAA has been in the new building the cost went from 45.00 to 60.00. The quality of service has gone down dramatically.

My cat was always really good about getting groomed until there groomer shaved his nipples off. it took two days for the bleeding to stop. They called me and told me they needed to sedate him because he was trying to bite the groomer. I would bit someone too if they shaved my nipples off.

They drugged him so much that he could barley walk for 3 days. I needed to stay with him so that he would fall and hurt himself. (Please see attached Youtube video) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qkFVaaJqfM.

The girls at the desk assured me that it wouldn't happen again the next time I brought him in. They gave him a milder sedative, but when I picked him up his nipples were shaved off again.

I called them yesterday and asked if they have a different groomer from the one they had before, they told me that she was no longer with the company so I decided to bring my cat in again. I was very specific that they needed to insure that they would not shave my cats nipples off or drug him excessively. They told me that it would be 160.00 for the grooming which is outrageous since they are the reason the cat is scared of the clippers. Their response " sorry". I do not recommend them to anyone, and if they are doing this to my cat I'm sure that there are many others that share a similar experience. Personally, I think they should be shut down.

THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE, my poor puppy went through so much pain because of them. pain that could have been avoided if they did their job right. first off before this even happened, i took my puppy in about 3 times telling them something was wrong with her and they said no it was something else. the first time i took her was for the beginning signs of kennel cough and i told them im pretty sure shes getting kennel cough they said no its allergies..guess what 3 days later she had a terrible case of kennel cough. then i took her in 2 different times for really bad diahrea and i told them i thought she had giardia and they said they could do a fecal exam but its just her food being changed so nothing to worry about. i ended up having to take her to a different vet for an emergency a couple days after the second time i took her to aaa and they second i got there they told me she had giardia without even having to test her. she had it for over a month and both times i took her in they said i had nothing to worry about. i think its funny how i told them what was wrong with her and they ignored it every time. they are the vets, not me shouldnt they be the one that knows whats going on?
ok now this tops it off!!!!!! i took her there to get her spayed and they used a wire to close her incision and they tied it way too tight so when her belly swelled the wire was literally slicing her stomach!!!! she would run around paniced and screaming in pain so i took her to a different vet and the second they saw it they ran her back to take the wire out and when they did her stomach started gushing blood from where the wire was cutting her belly. they explained to me, the wire is an older way of doing it but when they do it they need to leave some space for when the stomach swells so it doesn't slice her belly. if your a vet, shouldn't you know that?!?!?! my puppy was in so much pain because of their carelessness. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU NOT GOING HERE TO GET YOUR PUPPY SPAYED!!! unless you dont mind her being in a lot of pain.

We are sincerely thankful for the thoughtful card in sympathy after losing our kitty "Romeo". They may not see us for a while as Romeo was our last pet. We much appreciate the quality care and kindness attending to our many pets over the years. If and when we adopt in the future we will once again entrust veterinary care to your staff.

Sincerely,
Bill & Joan Lewis

Have had ok experiences in the past (only because i was dealing with the staff) but after today i will probably never go back. I took my dog in for an exam, spay and shots, all in one day last week. The exam was done without my presence so I thought I would ask my questions when I took my dog back a week later to have the stitches taken out. I explained my situation to the front desk and she said i would have to see a different doctor. The doctor answered my questions but was not able to get near my dog to examine, or remove the stitches and told me she had to be sedated. I agreed until I saw the bill and asked the front desk for another option. She told me that the stitches would devolve on their own. Why didnt the doc tell me this? Then he charged me for another exam! When I asked why, the front desk told me that he said"its not his fault my dog wont let him come close". Again, if he wasnt examined, why am i paying AGAIN? The doctor wouldnt talk to me personally either. I've spent HUNDREDS of dollars at this place, I couldnt believe the logic. Wont be going back :(

I had the horrible experience of having to put our darling Simba to sleep. Dr. Rizk and his staff were very empathetic and professional. The office was very busy but they gave me all the time I needed. 5 days later I received a hand written sympathy card from the doctor and his staff. I will definately be taking any future pets to AAA Animal Hospital.

Max, our 9-year old Rottweiler was diagnosed with hip dysplasia. In a matter of weeks, he completely lost the mobility of his two back legs which made it impossible for him to walk, not even stand up. It was a very painful and difficult decision for both my husband and I, but we decided the best thing was to put him down to sleep. I called AAA hospital to let them know of our decision and also to try to figure out how we were going to take him to them; Max was 130 lbs and didn??t want to be touched due to the pain he was in. The girls at AAA were very sympathetic to the special circumstances, and everyone was gentle when they gave him the shot. Our Max died comfortably surrounded by my husband and I, knowing that he was very much loved. I couldn??t be more grateful for the empathy showed by AAA hospital??s staff during this difficult time.

I just want to take a moment to thank Dr. Botros, Dr. Beshai, and their staff for saving the life of a loveable cat rescue named ??Six Toes? Charlie. If you see him now you would have no idea that he had scarcoptic mange that was so bad that his entire head and eyes were completely crusted. In addition, he was shot in the hip with a bebe gun.
When we got all that healed, he had one other problem?inverted eye lashes. That is, the eye lids were so that the eye lashes were going into the eye ball. This is a very delicate surgery and there is no room for error. Dr Botros did a perfect job in restoring his eye lids so the eye lashes were normal.
I have been doing cat rescue for more than twenty years. The last fifteen years I have gone to AAA Animal Hospital because they give quality care and are affordable. Dr. Botros and Dr. Beshai and their staff are amazing. I can??t believe the negative remarks that I read on the website. It was almost like these people had a personal vendetta against AAA Animal Hospital.
From a completely logical point of view, I ask this question for the reader to think about:
Why is the lobby of the AAA Animal Hospital full every day of the week:
Is it because the vets and staff are totally incompetent with inflated prices for care
OR
Is it because the vets and staff are highly competent with affordable prices for care.

Words cannot express the gratitude I have for the doctors and staff at AAA Animal Hospital. I started going to them several years ago through a friends recommendation. I was going to another vet, who will remain nameless, for many many years until I figured out that not only were their rates incredibly high but the staff was rude and the vets approach of treating and testing for "worse case scenario" was not the best and got to be pretty expensive.
Imagine my delight when I walked into AAA to find friendly, fun people behind the counter, doctors who truly cared about the animals AND great rates. I hit the trifecta! In addition, the doctors are not overly exuberant about taking all kinds of unnecessary tests or over medicating. They tend to use a more cautious approach (which makes my 2 dogs and 2 cats happy, not to mention my bank account). I am not opposed to spending time / money on my family (err pets) but I would prefer the money be spent on fun things like urban mushing and the time be spent with them when they feel great!

I would not go anywhere else. If you are "on the fence" about where to take your furry family member, let me assure you - AAA is the best place for them.

I love this vet!!! I recently brought my cat in with an abscess that needed to be repaired...it was much bigger than I thought but Dr. Robert Beshai and Dr. Samir Botros were extremely kind and caring throughout the entire situation. They let him stay at the hospital to ensure proper healing since the skin was being pulled so tightly. They both were so compassionate since they could see I was very upset about how large the abscess ended up being. I truely appreciate their kindness and generosity and will forever refer everyone I meet with a pet to this practice! AAA Animal Hospital is AMAZING!!

my dog got attacked by two pit bulls, the owner of the pit bulls works there, it wasnt my choice to take her there, it was done before I knew it happened, my dog got nothing for two days, when I was told I could pick her up, I took her over to my clinic, she was infected, her right ear had been bitten, aaa said that surgery would be required, the doctor at my clinic thought that was just nuts, she just needed to fight the infection and heal, so they put her on i.v.s, and helped her heal, aaa was saying that the right ear might have to be amputated, she was almost dead from exhaustion, I will never take my pet to his place, they have totally no idea of what their doing, or just dont care. and if you know whats good for you, you wont either, community veterinary hospital, in garden grove, best in orange county.

Absolutely TERRIBLE!!!! My mother had a reservation for boarding her puppy over this Thanksgiving Holiday and knew to have him there by 3pm At 2pm Courtney called leaving my mother a voice message saying they were leaving at 2pm. My mother arrived at the hospital at 215pm and it was closed. The sign with the hours had been crossed out for a 3pm closing time and 2pm had been handwritten instead. This incident was Extremely Irresponsible and Unprofessional. My mother will now spend Thanksgiving alone.

09/15/10 - I took my 2 pups a few weeks ago to AAA hospital. I had a good experience one got nuetered and one got her first shots. The front desk ladies were very friendly and they laid out the pricing over the phone before I came in. I wrote it all down added it up and that was my exact total. Pricing was right on as they quoted. From all the negative reviews I dont think I would board my pups there (my pups are my children, I wouldnt risk it) but as far as vaccines and nueter/spay you cant beat them. The facility was super clean, fast services, great prices. Will go back for 2nd pups spaying.

Quite possibly the worst vet in the history of mankind. No bedside manner, rude, unprofessional (like his staff) and only cares about money. Check reviews on the facility AAA Animal Hospital, they tell the story.

I have taken all my pets to AAA Animal Hospital for several years. The vets there are skilled and compassionate, especially Dr. Beshai. He always makes me aware of my treatment options but is considerate of my limited budget and has often discounted his bill. Knowing my interest in animal biology, Dr. Beshai explains all conditions, symptoms and procedures in detail and answers the many questions I put to him. I don't know all the staff as they have expanded the hospital, but the young women I've encountered have been considerate and professional. They are often really busy in the late afternoons so it's a good idea to plan routine visits earlier in the day.

I've taken both my dog and cat to AAA and they've always treated me beyond well. Their prices are what brought me in the first time, but the doctors there are excellent, especially Dr. Beshai. He seems to know his stuff and its nice because he gives me options as to what the best treatment is.

The front staff is also great. I dont know why so many people are complaining. I think those are just angry people who complain because I've been to this hospital on MANY occasions and my experience has always been positive.

The facilities are also brand new and state of the art. I would definitely recommend, and have recommended, this place to friends.

I'm writing this review because I feel that the majority of people who write reviews do it because they're angry. If you have a great experience, then you're less likely to write about it. But I have had a great experience every time I taken my 3 yr old dog there.

I've always seen Dr. Beshai, who is by far the nicest Doctor there. He's very understanding and compassionate about my nervousness since my puppy is practically my own son. I've done a variety of routing check ups and a few procedures, and each time I've come out happy with the customer service, the overall costs and my experience there as a whole.

I feel like this place's negative reviews are unfounded and isolated experiences, and should not be representative of the way everyone feels about this hospital.

Cons: None

Dr. Beshai has seen my puppy now a few times and I could not be more please with how he treats and takes care of him.

My puppy's been neutered by Dr. Beshai, and has also had to have a foreign object removed after he ate something he was not supposed to. We also go to see the Dr. for routine visits, and he's always so friendly and you can tell he really knows what he's doing.

The facility he works at is so nice and newly-built, and the costs are low, which is nice. Overall a great experience. I couldn't be happier.

From all of the reviews I've read, I don't think this is a good place to leave it!

I have been taking my kitties here for 7 yrs since I got them next door at the Humane Society. They have always been friendly & very cost effective. My Boz suddenly got a very high fever & I took him to All Care Animal Referral Center as they are a 24 hour emergency vet. After 3 days & $2200, they determined that he had a FUO (fever of unknown origin). However, his fever had gone down & I took him home. After 6 weeks, the fever was back. I then took him to AAA & they did not do any extra tests, they used all the tests from All Care, but tried another treatment. After 5 days of bringing him in each morning & picking him up each night, his fever was gone & has not returned for 5 years. The bill was $785 of which my VPI insurance paid nearly 3/4. This place is great, the prices are very reasonable & they work with you to provide the best care. I always recommend this place to anyone with a pet. All pet caregivers must be advocates for their pets & if something does not seem right - question it. I would not leave my pet a AAA over night because they do not have any one on duty at night, but I drive 85 miles one way to take them there.

IF YOU ARE CONCERNED ABOUT YOUR PET'S SURVIVAL, ABSOLUTELY DO NOT TAKE HIM/HER TO AAA ANIMAL HOSPITAL!!!

For a this review, I'm exchanging my mourning over my cat's death for complete and utter anger.

My cat wasn't eating or drinking, so I took him to this place because, after comparing prices online, they APPEARED to have the lowest costs. Let me tell you, taking your pet here will cost you in more ways than one.

They put him on fluids and kept him for an ultrasound and blood work, for which they quoted me around 600 dollars.

He was there for a week. During that time, they DIDN'T FEED HIM AT ALL, nor did they attempt to. They recommended putting him on a feeding tube, which would have costed $1700. When I came to visit, I was able to give him THREE SYRINGE-FULLS of food. Did they starve my cat just so they could get me to pay for a feeding tube??

He caught some other disease while he was there, and when I came to visit him, he had a HUGE amount of mucous build-up on his nose-- so much so that he was forced to breathe through his mouth. I took a towel and wiped him clean; he was able to breathe normally after that. Why didn't the technician do that?? Were they even monitoring him??

They didn't groom him in any way. His claws were so long that it hurt him to stand. No shampooing. No oral care. No brushing. The doctor gave me some lame excuse, saying that grooming him in his condition could put him in shock, but for God's sake, the technician should have done something! It's no wonder that he caught another infection there!

After $1075 worth of testing, all they were able to tell me was what WASN'T wrong with him. I repeat, AFTER $1075 DOLLARS WORTH OF TESTING, THEY DIDN'T EVEN FIND A CONCLUSIVE DIAGNOSIS.

I told the rude receptionist/nurse/whatever at the front desk all of my indignations with this place, and she told me that the doctor said that I can take my business somewhere else. HOW'S THAT FOR PATIENT CARE??

Dr. Bishai used my cat's life as a bargaining chip.
Dr. Bishai is not concerned for the welfare of your pets.
Dr. Bishai should be put in jail for the way he treats his patients.

Pros: A fancy TV that plays pet PSAs in the waiting room

Cons: I honestly believe they don't care about your pet.

I wish I could give this business a ZERO STAR rating. They do not deserve to be in business.

Just a warning to anyone thinking about bringing their animal to this hospital. The staff is extremely deceptive in informing clients of cost of services.

I was quoted one price and when I went in to pick up my dog, I was asked to pay a different amount. I brought this to their attention and they basically told me it was just too bad for me. I asked to speak to the vet and he was worse. He said that there was nothing he would do and that if I wanted my dog, I would have to pay the amount due.

The amount in dispute was $45.00. I know this is not a huge amount of money but I was lied to. I was taken advantage of because they knew that I would pay the bill in order to get my dog back.

This hospital should be put out of business. They are horrible.

The doctor is unethical and the staff members are rude, unprofessional and liars.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!!!!! Google this business and read all the reviews. I wish I would have done my homework before taking my dog here. Every review talks about how they were lied to and deceived.

After reading all these reviews I was shocked to see the negativity of how people think. I brought my 7 month old kitten to be fixed and brought it there because of the fact that all the bloodwork, IV, and pain medication was left as optional. At my regular vet I was quoted $325 because all that stuff was not optional! What part of optional do you people not get? I thought it was great that this stuff wasn't mandatory and I ended up leaving out of there for $101, for ALL the vaccines updated, spay and the pain medication to go home. Every hospital has bad reviews and maybe its not the hospital that is the problem but the people who care more about money than the care of their pets!

Our 12 year old was taken there this past Sunday for not eating and not going(went pee not number 2) potty, the dr on call said that he had (some) dehydration but his heart sounded good, He told us that they want to keep him 24 hours give him IV fluids for hydration ever though he told us he wasnt that dehydrated. My husband agreed to letting them keep him 24 hours as well as give him blood work to see what was wrong. not even 4 hours later they called us to tell us that he was hydrated but had a heart attack and that we should come see him before he passes away, we live 5 mins away, we got there and they threw us in a room and told us he had died! It wasn't so much that our lab had past away it was all the fees and the way the office staff acts! they charged us 575.00 dollars just for labs and Ivs then(another 400 if we wanted xrays), they took 275.00 deposit and after he past away they told us they wanted 45.00 more dollars! They ended up refunding us some of our money but I will never take any of my animals there again, I feel that they didn't do what they said then to tell us they "think" he had a heart attack but weren't sure. I just don't feel the bed side manor of any of the employees was good, they didn't try to make our 12 yr old daughter feel comfortable and the way they told us he had past away was just not professional.

I was compelled to write this review because of all the negative bad experiences others have had. I have had the very best experience with Dr. Beshai. He is the only vet I will got to in this office(although Gonzalez was good). He took care of our little 4lb yorkie "Bogee" with cancer, with the most compassion, and professionalism ever. I have recommended him to several friends that are so happy with him too. As for Botros, friends have had to see him because Beshai, was not available and were not happy. Most of the girls at the front desk go out of there way for you. I hope the office read the reviews and make some changes that evidently are needed based on the fact that the majority of the reviews are negative..

Long story short, my dog Trooper became sick with parvo after not even two days of the adoption. "Dr." Botros miss diagnosed him saying it was the flu even after I prompted him that I found out Troopers kennel mate had come down with the same disease. Even a diarrhea stool sample which I brought in... (a key sign and symptom of PARVO) was not enough to make him consider the possibility of trooper needing treatment or testing "just yet" $$$ I decided to keep my dog there overnight regardless. The following day Botros tested my dog positive for parvo. Five days in the hospital later (i decided to keep him despite Dr. Botros ever so kind offer to credit me $150 to adopt a new dog... right) Trooper was able to come home for the first real time since the adoption. Botros did only charge me $365 which was half of what my bill was supposed to be because he said he "felt for me" followed up by telling his staff to ask me that i make a donation to their hospital. I gave them another chance a week later when trooper came down with kennel cough and got the same results, the other guy Dr. Beshai walked in never even touched or acknowledged that my dog was in the room and wrote a prescription for the cough he didn't even wait around to hear or listen to any lung sounds for. I instantly got a second opinion from my parents vet and found out it was indeed more than kennel cough. Dont worry Dr. Beshai, we took care of it.

We called around the area trying to find the best place to fix our pup, and this hospital quoted us $100 for the operation + $20 for the meds, no disclaimers about weight or all of a sudden more expensive meds... Sounds good right? ----------------

Our dog gets fixed, we pick her up, and here's our bill:

(Pain Package: $42)

(Spay operation 40+ lbs: $120)

(In Heat Charge: $50)

(TOTAL: $212.00 + TAX) ---------------

Okay, so that'd be fair, if the facts were straight... but they aren't! --------------

1st - Pain Meds? What part of "$20 for the meds" sounds like $42?... It doesn't!

2nd - (40+ lbs upcharge)... we weighed our dog before and after, she's a 35lb dog, (30lbs a week after the operation) Somebody doesn't know how to read a scale.

3rd - In Heat Charge, our dog was in heat 3 months prior to the operation and had NO signs of any such claim. Clearly a scam! ------------

When we talked to the clerk about these charges, they simply dismissed the subject and acted like we didn't know what we were talking about.

Terrible! Please take your business elsewhere, to more deserving and honest folk.

Pros: Operation was clean, our dog came out okay.
Cons: Pricing, lies, and more lies

Placed 1 year old robust dog in the kennel for 2 weeks and returned to find she had lost so much weight she could barely hop up. Would not recommend leaving her there.

I have a decent experience going to AAA especially because of the prices. I talked my mom into going there because we have so many animals and I figured we could save a few bucks. Well I regret telling my mom to take our 8 yr old 4 pd chihuahua there. Peanut was sick so they took some labs and said she was having multi system failure. Well they said they wanted to keep her overnight for some IV fluids. My mom hadn't heard anything the next morning so she drove over to visit. They said she could not go back (our previous vet would always allow us back to see our pets, he has retired) and see her, but they would gladly bring her to the room. They brought my mom and almost frozen to death dog. They couldn't explain why she was so cold so My mom took Peanut home to warm her up because she was so cold. My mom knew she was going to die but wanted her to die at home where she was born. Peanut lived 4 more days in a soft warm bed at home with her sister and owners who took care of her from day one, Not a cold cage in a no compassion environment.

I have been taking my dog to AAA pet hospital for 3 years, and have had the final straw. The Front desk staff is very unprofessional, I always hold for 15-20 minutes on each call, and have never had a call back on test results, after spending up to $400 on tests. I have made the Dr. aware of the service given by there front staff, but still no improvement, he even nodded at my familiar complaint explaining they have been trying to fix this for awhile. As a buisness owner I would never allow my reception to treat clients this way, and find it unacceptable.

I took my cat to them. She was 8 years old...not old really for a cat. They told me she had cancer and had to stay for the night with fluids. The recession has hit everyone, especially those of us on social security. I agreed. When I realized I had forgotten my wallet at home, they threatened to quit treating her, so I called a friend who was willing to give them her credit card number and they would have nothing of it. They were withholding treatment until a good Samaritan gave me 100 dollars to get them to help her. With tears in my eyes and not being able to say good bye, I headed home at top speed, I only got a few blocks...they told me she died. When I returned they changed their story...now they would take my friends credit card. I came back and asked if I could see her. The blonde with the eyebrows....goes to check first...incredulously, she says to me as she walks me back to my cat...she looks peaceful now....??????? Peaceful? Is that a scripted sentence? She looked FAR from "peaceful". Her jaw was agap, she looked like she spent her last minutes SCREAMING or seeing a horrible beast (It was probably both). She was still moving as I reached in and closed her loving eyes....her jerking made me think...was there life in her? The Vet came over after I demanded that someone check her....Dr. Botros pushed past me and put a stethoscope on her chest for a half a second..."she's DEAD" and walked away.

I won't ever go there again.

Her jaw was agap, she looked like she spent her last minutes SCREAMING or seeing a horrible beast (It was probably both). terrible experience

Dr. Beshai,

It has been five days since I brought our beloved dog Abby to your ??hospital?. I realize the decision I made to end Abby??s life in a compassionate dignified manner was the right decision. The choice I made to bring her to your facility was the worst I or anyone else could have made.

There was no Professionalism.

There was no Compassion.

There was no Dignity.

There was no Tenderness.

That is what I was hoping to find at your ??hospital?. Instead, there was severe harshness, cruelty, there was arrogance, and there was imperviousness.

This was not an act of euthanasia. This more closely resembles an execution. Dr. Botros and two other men entered the exam room. Abby was lying on the floor in the corner. There was no introduction, there was no eye contact. I had to assume this man holding a syringe was the vet. The other two men could have been janitors for all I knew. One of them actually straddled Abby and yanked her into a sitting position when the other man grabbed her leg to shave it. My friend and I tried to go to her ?? asked that she be put on the table. Once on the table Dr. Botros took her front leg and started to inject the medication. He must have been in a hurry while preparing the injection or he just didn??t care. After pushing half the medication in, the needle completely detached from the syringe ?? the medication squirted all over. All I could think of was my dog? he feverishly reconnected the needle and syringe and pushed what was left in the syringe. At that point he said ??the x-rays were ??bad? you did the right thing?.

Why couldn??t he come into the room introduce himself without his body guards ?? maybe assess her condition and start from there? This whole experience is inexcusable. How do you continue to work there? Dr. Botros should have chosen another profession.

I cannot and will not refer anyone to your facility. Thank you for hearing my story. Maybe there is hope for you.

I don??t think filing a complaint with the Veterinary Board of California will make a difference. It is something I will consider although the point of the visit was to end her life.

The card I received was sent with no sincerity- no one took the time to sign it. Please read the following reviews of AAA Animal Hospital attached?

Very truly yours,

Pros: Dr. Beshai

Cons: All the other doctors and the office staff.

AAA recommended giving my little dog 2 flea medications- 1 that causes every 1 in 4 dogs to be sick and my dog puked all night and was terribly ill. When I brought her back in, they couldn't figure out why she was sick and said she shouldnt have had that medication. The nurses are never very friendly and really dont seem to care about your pet. I now go to Corona Del Mar vet and they are 100 times better

They recommended too much medication that caused my dog to become very sick and then they tried to cover it up! They were completely unsympathetic and uncaring to my sick dog and were rude to me. Please be careful and do not take your pet here!

I have been going here for years and my last straw after very poor customer service was when they recommended too much medication which caused my dog to become violently sick and then they denied giving that recommendation! Please dont take your beloved pet here.

I had a very bad experience. The charge for the office visit ($25.00) is very reasonable but they tried to charge me for a bunch of "extras" - things my cat did not need. Shame on them. It's very obvious they care about money above all else. I will NEVER bring my cat there again!

The worst experience ever. I took my 10 week old Saint Bernard there for a urinary tract infection. They changed her diet to prescribed canned dog food for a month and antibiotics for 14 days. They only gave me enough meds for 10 days instead of what was prescribed 14 days. By the time I noticed she had already been finished taking her meds for 3 days. Spoke to the receptionist, yes the doctor wants her on the meds for 14 days come back and pick up the extra 4 days of meds at no charge. I guess not, since you charged me for 14 days of meds originally. Sorry to say with the delay in meds the UTI did not clear up. With that said, I took her back they the Dr put her on stronger meds for 7 days & continue with the prescribed food and they wanted to do another urine analysis on day 9. OK. I went on vacation on day 8 and decided since they were aware of her condition that I would board her with them instead of where my golden retriever vacations. I dropped her off on Friday with 35 cans of prescribed food for her to be fed 3 cans a day and if needed 4 cans. I returned home 10 days later and they returned 18 cans if food to me. You do the math. She still has the UTI and they didn't start giving her meds again until 6 days after the urine analysis was done. She had sores on all 4 legs where she had just laid in the kennel apparently not taken out to walk or play in 10 days. Sad to say, but my little Saint Bernard puppy still has the UTI and is still on meds and I feel like the worst person in the world for leaving her in such horrible conditions. I've taken 4 of my dogs to this vet and never again will they see any pet of mine nor board them there.

I have used this animal hospital on three occasions over the last 12 years. For some reason, (perhaps because of my desperation and grief or perhaps because they were located right next to it), I thought they were the humane society and took my sick cats there to be euthanized. The last time I was there, however, I realized that they were not the humane society and they were just a filthy animal hospital. I would never take a viable pet there for anything, but now I am on their calling list and they are offering me a discount on a pet visit. I will stick with the Animal Hospital of Fountain Valley, thank you very much. STOP CALLING ME!!

took my older cat there spent 530$ to pay in full for the estimate. when I pick my cat up they charged another 215$ for stuff that was on the estimate bill. There was not reason to charge me the extra money. and first off they should have told me my cat would not be getting any better and given me the choice to put her down she was very old and very sick and they kept given me false hopes just to keep my wallet open. I ended up maxing my credit cards to these people.

Metal stitches were used at the top & bottom of suture & the middle of incision was just flopping out! She was crying TERRIBLE! I also could not believe when they asked at the beginning if we wanted her to have a pain shot & medication sent home after the surgery (that was a charge of $42.00). I never in a million years thought that a Veterinarian would allow ANY living thing to leave his/her office without pain medication after being cut open! However, this was an option!!! Isn't that inhumane? This was a free service as we adopted her from the shelter...I would never advise ANYONE to send their puppy OR adult dog there...if you love them. It's heartbreaking to see the result of this butcher!

I've been taking my dog to AAA since we got her from the Humane Society next door over 10 years ago. The care has sometimes been good--the doctor was caring and informative; but all too often the service was poor. For example, the front staff was rude, phone calls were not answered or returned, they failed to put a bandage over a bleeding cut. In addition, the grooming has been inconsistent--sometimes her cut is nice and even and others many shaggy spots are left. Although comments by other reviewers have indicated that the prices are exceptional, I don't agree and several times I have been charged for procedures that I do not believe were done, including the bandaging of my dog's cut paw that I was charged for although it was clearly not done). If I knew a better vet facility, I would change.

I took my lab here almost two years ago. The service, wait time, compassion, and of course prices, were all great. I unfortunately lost my lab about 10 months ago, but just got a 5 mo. old puppy that I am taking there tomorrow for a well check. I'll post again after that. It is unfortunate there isn't a bell curve for reviews as a couple of these sounded like impatient people, and the one with a recurring problem that wanted meds w/out a visit....that would be malpractice as the animal could very well have more than one, or a different problem in a period of 5 weeks. I'd have rated with a 4, but threw in an extra one to compensate for the extreme the other way!

I was referred to AAA Animal Hospital by a good friend and a responsible pet owner, and I have been so pleased with them. I've been lucky enough to get to know all three doctors there, and they are incredibly considerate, educated and pet-loving people.

I had my puppy taken in to get his vaccinations and to get neutered. The service and the facilities are outstanding, and all the front desk girls are such great young ladies.

After reading a few of the "negative" reviews on here, I just feel like the writers of those reviews are impatient and bitter people who always feel like anyone in medical services are trying to rip them off. I don't get that at AAA. Their prices are beyond fair and they're extremely decent people. I will continue to take my puppy there.

I went to AAA Animal Hospital last week to get my 5 month old cat spayed, All the girls were super nice and efficient. They offered to give me a tour of there new facility and every thing was very clean, I felt very comfortable leaving my cat in their care. They will definitely become my regular vet.
