My neighbor has delivered both of her boys here within the last two years and had a fantastic experience. Though I am very loyal to my doctor within the St. Louis area, I was impressed with how she was treated in our visits to her. The facility itself is very clean and she was very happy with the nursing and doctor staff. If you are seeking a good local hospital, I would check into Memorial.

When I went in for my prenatal care, I informed my doctor that I was planning a second VBAC since my first was so successful. She regretfully informed me that Memorial was no longer allowing VBACs - not a hospital I would even consider anymore. Apparently they had one "negative outcome" from a previous patient and they had decided to no longer support VBACs, even if you came into the hospital in active labor. The hospital itself is fairly clean, but the parking is atrocious.

I had to spend the day at one of the outpatient's clinics after minor surgery. Everyone was warm, welcoming & friendly, from the receptionists to the surgeon. They all made me feel at ease & were very knowlegable in their specific fields.
I awoke from surgery feeling cold & very thirsty, a nurse brought me a nice WARMED blanket & an ice cold drink.
My stay was extemely pleasurable under the circunstances & I would not hesitate to recommend this hospital if ever you should need a hospital service!
