Lets see, putting crap boots on the same shelf as RedWing and Wolverines and then telling the people they are put out by those companies is bad business. The boots I got were crappy and from a no name company. The lady helping me, the owner, told me they were made by RedWind and had a 30 day satisfaction guarantee. Not so much. After the fabric inside the boot folded up under the steel toe, Holt Shoe Shop told me there was nothing they could do for it except stretch the leather and hope the fabric pulled taut. The boots were purchased 2Nov09 and this occurred on 21Nov09. Also, was told I would have same day service so I could leave for work 6AM Monday, its Sunday night and I have to wait til they open to pick up my boots. Pure crap. Will NEVER deal with them again. The previous two reviews are the owner and the counter clerk if anybody is curious. Match the names to the name tags.

The days are gone for good old fashioned shoe repairs...that is what everyone thinks today! But try Holt Shoe Shop in Granite City. This is a top notch shoe shop and they do wonderful work and give you that old fashioned service that is gone nowadays from so many businesses.

This a small shoe shop in Granite City. It is conveniently located on one of the main roads in town. This business has been around for a very long time and they do quality work. If you have a pair of shoes or a purse that is need of repair, I reccommend Holt Shoe Shop.
