Schoop's Hamburgers

I live in Canada and had heard about how good Schoops hamburgers are so we decided to try them when we flew into O'Hare recently. It was the best hamburger we had ever eaten! The service was great and I highly recommend the Portage, IN location.

Schoops is the best around- even President Obama ate there. It is ALWAYS clean and the service is great. Their burgers are only $4.00 (not $7.00). Culvers does not even compare in size, price or quality! Try the breakfast - voted best in the region.

The food is always good, but for what you pay for it I'm not so sure it's worth it.( you don't even get fries or a drink with your $7.00 burger!!! )The service is okay at times, but the place is ALWAYS dirty. We used to go there all the time but stopped after the last price increase. About a month ago we gave it another shot, and it just wasn't worth it!! We can get so much more when we go to Culver's and the burgers are just as good!!

Absolutely the best burger anywhere! Nothng else compares to the fresh, handmade burger. Try the bacon cheeseburger. Irish Nachos are tops. Soups are homemade. The only place around that does hand dipped ice cream shakes! The service was excellent. It has a great hometown feel. They are not only known for their great burgers, but they have a FANTASTIC breakfast menu. Omeletes are huge, pancakes even bigger and Biscuits and Gravy definitely homemade. Great food at a great price. You pay for what you get and it is exceptional.

Absolutely the best burger you will ever have! Milk shakes are great. Homemade soup daily and awesome service! You won't leave hungry. Also has the best breakfast around.
