When we purchased a vacuum for commercial use over a year ago, we decided to invest in the best quality they offered. We knew that our vacuum would need service and we bought on a service basis. In otherwords, we kill vacuums and needed to buy one from a shop that would stand behind their product. Vacuum Doctor has done exactly that. They have always fixed minor issues, belts, brushes, filters, etc in a few minutes in the shop. A few days ago I dropped off a vacuum that wouldn't even turn on. Turns out it was a switch that protects the motor from overheating. Our guys did not put the bag correctly and so it fell off inside the vac, which blew construction cleanup dust directly into the filter, which could have overheated the vacuum except for that internal switch. Vacuum Doctor reset the switch, cleaned up the entire vacuum and filters, replaced a bumper we had destroyed. When we picked up the vacuum it looked almost new, and we asked, "how much do we owe you?" They said, "consider it your free annual tune up, we appreciate your business." Service sold it, Thanks Vacuum Doctor!

I wouldn't call this store the vacuum doctor!!!! Maybe if the doctor's name is jack kevorkian!!! I wanted an Oreck, and I thought that they would have one since there is a sign in the window. When I walked in and asked to see an Oreck, the sales person, who I found out was also the owner, told me that oreck's were junk and that I should buy a simplicity. I had a copy of consumers report with me and it said that simplicity was the lowest ranked vacuum with a 26% failure rate in the first year!!! I told him this but he wouldnt listen and kept going on about the simplicity. I left and drove to portage and bought an oreck from the oreck dealer there! Do not buy from this man!!!
