Plato's Closet

I usually have a great experience at Plato's Closet. However, there is an employee named Kimberly at the Kirkwood store who is just horrible. She is rude to customers AND other employees. I was in the store for over an hour and she did

Nice but sometimes too expensive.Very picky with clothes selection and they don't pay out very much.Better to go with an independent consignment shop.

I love this Plato's. Yes there are some Target and Wal-Mart brands, even though they same it's all name brand, but there's also name brand. It's mostly affordable name brand with some higher end labels. Clean store, great selection. Styles come and go quickly and you are on a tight budget. Enter Plato's Closet. The richer kids buy expensive clothes and can afford to sell it in order to clear space and to help pay for new ones. Well, you can usually find popular as well as eccentric clothes here for a lot less than buying new. Granted, you are buying used clothing but getting to wear name brand at a fairly low cost can be worth it to some people. I was able to find some cool jeans here for not a lot of dough.

I stopped in here expecting to find at least one thing, and they had a terrible selection. I thought everything was supposed to be name brand, and most of the clothes I saw were Target and WalMart brand. I didn't see many real "name brand" things. THey had a lot of Old Navy items also. Which they weren't even marked down that low. You could have gone to Old Navy and paid the exact same for brand new things. I wasn't impressed at all!

Plato's Closet offers used clothes in great condition at a low price compared to the retailers themselves. Offering all name brand clothing, parents can go get their teenager styled for school and keep money in their pocket. The store is organized very neatly by the staff and sometimes even color coordinated. Customers can also sell old name brand clothes still in good condition and recieve cash from them. They have a great concept that is saving lots of people money and providing great clothes for an even greater price. Platos Closet has saved me lots of money on brand name clothes. I go to both locations depending on which side of town I'm on and they always have something I want to buy. I like the atmosphere Plato's has because it doesn't feel like a discount store. They keep up the store very well so that it doesn't feel cheap, and I have noticed that with both locations. Their hip clothes keep me in style and keep money in my pocket. I would recommend Plato's Closet to anyone that is looking for a new wardrobe to start the year.
