Poor Herbie's

Poor Herbie's is a place you go back to numerous times with your girlfriend. Poor Herbie's is an Irish Pub that has a large bar where you can grab a drink and watch the game. The food is good and very cheap (a couple can have a full meal for around $18).

I have gone to Poor Herbie's numerous times with my girlfriend and her friends and it is one of the most overlooked restaurants in Madison. Poor Herbie's is an Irish Pub that has a large bar with many TVs for watching the games and it also has a separate room for sit down dining. The menu at Poor Herbie's is that of a classic Pub and is very cheap (a couple can have a full meal for around $20). Every time I go I always get the bacon cheeseburger, the hamburgers at Poor Herbie's are the best I have ever had!

We've gone to Poor Herbies a couple of times after soccer games in the Madison area. It is a very neat rustic restaurant located on Waverly Place in Madison. The interior decor is tastefully decorated. They have a typical pub type menu in a pub-like environment, very casual and comfortable. Service was very good and I would recommend Poor Herbies if you are in the area.
