The Westin New York at Times Square

MY love of my life took me there for a weekend and i loved it...it look so much like home but away from the kids....i had a blast there with him (wink wink) and he took me right to bbq rite next to it and i ate till i couldnt eat no more!!

I've stayed at both the Westin Times Square and the Hilton Times Square a half block from the Westin, both recently, upgrades in both. Location is ideal for flying into Newark and then taking bus to Port Authority Bus Terminal. Westin rooms are modern, HTS more traditionally decorated. HTS has breakfast free for Golds, arguably a good American-style breakfast. Westin had executive lounge continental breakfast (for upgrades) which I skipped. Westin had street noise at night. HTS was quiet. BUT I liked the Westin views far better. I had a corner room on executive floor, then switched to a higher level floor for another corner room. Awe-inspiring view that HTS, which is in the middle of a block, can't match. I like this Westin!

You've come to expect a Heavenly Bed in Westins but this one has an executive section that has a bit larger room, not a bad deal in Manhattan, and breakfast.
