I ate here last week and loved the food. Big portions, reasonably priced, everything was fresh.

Cold food, indifferent staff, loud intrusive music. I should have had Thai across the street. 1 hour 2 lasagna dinners cold in the middle =$43. Waiter didn't say a thing. Ruined a dinner date.
12 lasagna dinners 1 hour later its cold in the middle. Sent it back got soupy overcooked noodles and looked pureed.
Waiter didn't say a thing. $43 bucks and not as good as Safeway frozen. Its an Italian place, how could this happen.

Pros: One of a kind antiques
Cons: Cold indifferent food and service.
Great Place! 20 years ago it was our favorite place while in college and it is just as good, if not better today. It is one of the last classy places in Downtown Eugene. Atmosphere, service and food is A++.
5This restaurant makes the best calzone in the business. Great downtown, loft like setting with a wood fired oven. The surrounding neighborhood is a little sketchy at night, so don't leave any valuables in your car and watch out for the unsupervised, drug addicted runaways that prowl the streets.

Great service and staff! Delicious food and excellent presentation! Clean and elegant restaurant. Make sure that you order dessert, it is fabulous! It may be a little pricey, but it is definitely worth it.
4This restaurant is located downtown on 8th & Pearl, in an old brick building. The atmosphere is very warm and cozy. The food is outstanding, and make sure to save room for dessert!
5I learned more about how to make a good pizza by eating Ambrosia pizzas than from any other source. But I can only wish that I could cook fish like they do. Nobody can cook a piece of fish like the chef at Ambrosia. Perfection!

Wonderful good, great ambience, professional wait staff and great wine. What more could you want for a night out? I get to Eugene several times a year and always take time to have dinner at Ambrosia. I just wish Armen would open a restaurant like Ambrosia in the Seattle area so that I did not have to travel so far for a great meal.

Pros: great food
I always stop by when I'm in Eugene.

Pros: Friendly and knowledgeable staff, warm atmosphere
Cons: Can be a wait on weekends
I've eaten at Ambrosia a number of times over several years, it was very impressive initially but has unfortunately lost its way. The last time we ate there, it took well over two hours to get our food, the food was poorly prepared (burned, undercooked, dried out, cold). The serving people are very friendly but the basic service is not very good. After the last dining fiasco, the waitress offered us a free cup of coffee to make amends for a really poor $100 meal. Denny's does better than this.

Pros: nice building
Cons: value, quality of food, service
I have gone to Ambrosia for years. The last time I went I was not impressed with the change to the menu. It was limited in comparison. I was confused by the wasabi fish in a Italian resteraunt. My stuffed chicken was not good. My husband had lobster and it was good and affordable. I was disapointed last time I was there.

Pros: cool old chairs, bread
Cons: menu
There's a reason that there is usually a waiting line to be seated on weekends at this restaurant. Make your evening plans accordingly. The food is expensive but delicious. This is a large restaurant with two floors and different seating areas. I think the second floor has the best tables. Service was excellent.

All my visits to Ambrosia have consisted of good memories and wonderful food! I love the fresh Italian cuisine with a nice cool Italina soda. delicious!! By far one of the best places to dine and the location couldn't be better. A nice area for a strole and a good place to see people or meet people.

You want romance? Class? Fine Dining? Awesome Ambience? Ambrosia beats ANYPLACE else in Eugene for the Best all-around restaurant/bar. With a wine list consistently awarded by Wine Spectator magazine, and expert chefs and dessertiers, dining at AMBROSIA is an experience you want to last all night. In addition to the great food and drinks, the decor of antique tables and lamps makes you feel like you stepped into a different time in America, New-Orleans style, classy, jazzy, romantic. If you live in Eugene, this is definitely the Happening place to go and especially take friends and visitors.

Pros: Private Banquet Room, Great Food/drinks, Armen the Magnificent
Eating at Ambrosia feels like home because everyone goes out of there way to make sure your visit is pleasant and memorable. The drinks are always poured perfectly and with a smile. And the food prepared by the fabulous chef Dave is delicious. My personal favs would include the baked goat cheese salad, any pasta dish with seafood (usually a seasonal special) and the lasagna. For a quick bite, the pizzas and calzones can't be beat. They are always made with the freshest ingredients right before your eyes.
Ambroisa most certainly could serve it up to the gods... but they have been nice enough to share it with mortals like us.

Ambrosia i would say, without a shadow of a doubt, is one of my top three places to eat in Eugene. The perfect place to take a drink after work, late night, or to take visiters to. Pasta, pizza, desserts....the best in all you could ask for. Bon Apatite!

Had so much fun at Touche in PDX that we decided to try Ambrosia. Had a fantastic dinner and came back a few weeks later for an amazing wine tasting with spectacular food.
