Mc Grath's Fish House

They have great seafood and are very nice. Mc Grath's is a great place to go when you want to go out to eat with your family but don't want it to be fancy.
They start out with fresh sourdough bread, a lot of times, still warm. It's amazing!:)
I like to get their fried shrimp, but they have soooo many healthy dishes, if that's what you are looking for.
It's right by the downtown shopping center so it's really convinient if you have been shopping or if you are going to go shopping.

This is a old favorite restaurant for our family. We always go here when we have company as the atmosphere, seating and menu choices suit a variety of tastes. For the most part the food is good, once in awhile the fish is old....love the parmesean halibut and sesame chicken. Would recommend.

This is a fine place for a dinner out with your family. There is nothing fancy or special about it - but if you are just looking for dinner it is fine.

I am not one for seafood, but my parent's enjoy it so when they came for a visit, we took them to McGrath's Public Fish House....they loved it! McGrath's has good serivce, and quality food. The staff was friendly and courteous and very professional. Their menu has a good variety....and they even had something for us non-fishy people :)

If you're looking for a great seafood restaurant in Salem, this is it. McGrath's has two locations--downtown and near the Lancaster Mall. They serve fresh fish and seafood year-round, and their prices are comparable to chain restaurants (but the quality seems much better!) They have a live lobster and crab tank and a great kid's menu. They also have an outdoor seating area at the Lancaster Mall location. As good as the dinners are, you must also try the cobbler dessert with seasonal fruit--AMAZING!
