Canterbury Animal Hospital

I disagree with John S, he is entitled to his opinion, but the front office receptionists Jen and Melissa are amazing, kind and extremely professional. I've never seen the kind of behavior he has mentioned. The technicians are very kind to my animals I have two dogs and a cat and they have been treated with the upmost gentleness and care. Dr. Cox is the best, I would not trust my pets with anyone else.

I did not have a good experience at this clinic. The front office staff seemed very rude and uninterested in my cat and I. I do not know what her name was but she was extremely heavyset with curly brown hair, maybe around 25yrs old. I think her name started with a J. She seemed more interested in playing with her phone than doing business with me. She seemed annoyed in fact that I was even there and she actually had to work. Then when I was leaving she asked to see my cat and she proceeded to be horridly rough with him grabbing him by the scruff to pick him up and dangling him in the air. She grabbed him so hard he made a screeching noise. It takes quite a bit to make a cat screech by grabbing there scruff. I don't even know why she asked to see my cat or what she even was doing. She just looked at him and gave him back. She was just the receptionist that day not a tech! My cat had already been seen and the appointment was over. Needless to say, I will not be going back there for any reason and I am advising others to do the same.

They have a knowledgable, calm staff. When I called right after my dog was ripped up in a fight, they were nice to me, and told me there was actually a closer emergency vet to me. They not only gave me that number, they offered to call them and tell them I was on my way so I could load up my dog and drive.
