Good Service with Employees that arent 12 years old! Good Food, Good Margaritas. Great Atmosphere..Sometimes there is a wait but not usually long and it is definetly worth it... Nice all around!

Today is April 24. My girlfriend and I ate at this Macayos on thursday night, april 20, and concieved some type of food poisoning. There is no other explaination, all the symptoms are present. Ive eaten there on many occations, and enjoyed my experience. I will not be returning, and will warn all others of this terrible experience.

we love macayos, we never have to wait, very kid friendly, always friendly service, and very reasonably priced, also their food is so yummy, if you ask me they have the best mexican food in the valley

Macayo's has wonderful mexican food. Most of it is your basic mexican food, but they offer a spicy Baja sauce that is really good and really different from other mexican food restaurants. But what really makes Macayo's special is their unique desserts. Mini chocolate chimis with ice cream. Enchiladas Dulce with apple and caramel filling, topped with ice cream. But the best dessert they offer is the Chocolate Cheesecake Chimi. A chocolate tortilla filled with cheesecake and caramel, deep fried and topped with raspberry sauce, chocolate sauce, and sliced strawberries. Oh yea, it's as good as it sounds! Food is a bit on the expensive side, but worth the price. Make sure you save room for dessert!!

This location is okay. The wait staff is friendly and the food is always good. I have enjoyed the atmosphere at other locations much more than this one. there is not a real comfortable feeling at this location. I can't ever quite put my finger on it, but i felt like I had to hurry and finish my meal and move on.

I have been to the MacAyos in Scottsdale and I really enjoyed it but the new one in Surprise is just ok. The drinks were watery and weak and so was the salsa. It is always busy and the only reason I think so is because Surprise is such a new area and not too many restaurants.
