I went to Dr. Nielsen because we just moved to the area, and her office was so close, but I wasn't happy with her at all. Like the other reviewers state, she always seemed, busy, distracted, and I think I felt genuine annoyance from her

I really thought she seemed too busy all the time and rushed when looking at my child. She was not very friendly to me either and when I asked questions she acted like I should of known what to do.
1I was not impressed with Dr. Nielson. She always seemed too busy, didn't care that I was a new mom, seemed to think that I should already know things. The last straw was when my three year old son dropped a very heavy item on his toe, and it was hurting him bad enough that after three days he still would not walk on it, I took him to the doctor. She told me to heat up a paper clip and poke his nail to relieve the pressure. I couldn't do that! Later that day we ended up taking him to the emergency room, and they used a coterizing gun to poke the nail and relieve the pressure. When I called her to let her know that we ended up in the emergency room, she denied telling me to poke his toe and said that of course they would do something, since we were there. My son was starting to run a fever, too, which she didn't know because when I had taken him in th see her, no one ever took his temperature. Not my idea of a great doctor.
