Seems to be a popular pet store in my neighborhood. I am always seeing people go in an out carrying pet supplies. Have been here for various pet items. Large selection of homeopathic remedies for pets and yourself. They even have a little bakery case near register for little treats for your special pet. Sometimes they have a "Pet Communicator" come. Not sure what this is but there is a sign on sidewalk announcing when she is there. Have been curious about this and we would like to bring our demonic cat here to see why she is possessed. Figured this should be enlightening or entertaining or both! Should be interesting, not sure if this is complimentary or a fee.
We like this theatre and probably go here the most because of their selection. Weekends tend to have huge lines so get there early. Parking is in back of complex, you need to get validated in lobby with their machine, DONT FORGET before you leave. Nice place to walk around before or after the show. Cheesecake Factory, Mrs. Fields, Tower Records, Baskin Robbins, Burgers, Starbucks to name a few are located here. We have smuggled in food in our backpacks to eat during the show. We haven't got caught yet! Knock on wood!!
Huge selection of movies at one theatre. Drawback - DONT go to the afternoon show. People tend to bring kids to discounted shows and you wind up in a very noisy movie theatre. Prices for afternoon shows are cheap so you take your chance. Had to get a refund once because some parents brought their kids to a HORROR movie and they screamed the whole time. Went to the manager and got comp tickets to return at night. So you take your chances! If you go at night and there is not a crowd. Parking is great.
An incredible summer camp for kids ages 4-11. Check out their website for an entire list of classes. There is Art, Cooking, Fencing, Theatre, Scrapbooking, Drawing, Dance, Yoga, Photography, Beadmania, Pottery etc. A wide variety to keep the kids active during the summer. Two sessions run back to back for a total of 9 weeks. Afterschool care available. Top notch teachers make this Camp a must for your child. Teacher bios, pics, class descriptions on web.
One of my favorite Thrift Stores when I am around Los Angeles. Have found some gems here. Jewelry case has some treasure, found a gorgeous garnet and silver necklace for $10. Spotted a Kipling briefcase in a pile once and still had tags on and was $5!! CHeck bookcases in back for knick-knacks like candle holders, cups, candels, statues, gifts etc. Nice selection of books in back, paperback and hardcover. Make sure you check tags for color of the day sale items. Behind register is some special items that come in and you have to ask to see. Also found a pair of NEW red rubber gardener clogs for $3.
Have been here a few times. Great service, great food, great prices, fast service. Not too crowded and not too noisy. Have had lunch by myself and with my daughter. Pleasant and relaxing both times. After shopping it was a great place to take a load off and relax your feet. Yummy burgers, hot dogs, grilled cheese and killer fries that are served with a tray for ketchup with a smiley face drawn by the waitress. Star sightings - actress from "24"!
As I got older, I found this store to be a nice alternative to Gap and Abercrombie. I am addicted to their classic ribbed tank tops and probably own about 8. Sign up to get their catalog in the mail and you can catch up on current stock. Their sweats, sweaters, pants are classic styles that never go out of style! Quality is superb and clothes are made to last through wash and wearings!
This movie theater plays independent movies that are always stimulating, enjoyable and amazing. Located on the lower level of plaza type shopping, easy parking on lot. We never are disappointed when seeing a movie here. Always worth our money and some.
This Barnes & Noble is one of the best in the valley. Huge, a Starbucks connected to it but here there is an outside cafe to sit and parking is part of the strip mall. Open late, the enxtensive collection of books, CD's and DVD's and misc. will get youlost in this place for hours. Teachers sign up and get your card for a 20% discount on mostly everything. Returns such as gift they are gracious to look up to see if they carry an can give you a credit.
I have shopped here a few times and sold here also. Prices are pretty good and they have some popular designers. Lots or racks to search through. I have purchased tops, sweaters, pants. I have sold here a few time. THey are less picky on their buyingas some stores are. I got a nice chunk of money for a batch of clothes and walked out feeling good about cleaning out my closet and making some money besides. Be prepared for some rejections and taking some clothes home.
