Clemson Printers
If you need something good fast you can stop by Clemson printers. They can take care of all of your printing needs. Their prices are high, but you are definitely paying for the convenience and professional service. You do not have to worry about getting a parking ticket (like the downtown shop) or walking for 20 minutes from your parking spot (like the Lee Hall Printing Facility). They are located right on 123 and have plenty of parking. If you value your time (as money) the Clemson Printers are an obvisous choice!
Feet First Clemson
Feet First is a new shoe store located in downtown Clemson. It is definitely geared towards the college students and is likely to stay. This store is the exact opposite of Garretts shoe store (r.i.p.). They have very trendy shoes like you might see in magazines or high end stores. The prices are high (as you might imagine from this review) but they do have great sales and even some clearance merchandise. you will be lucky to find the clearance items in your size as there are only a few of each style. If you haven't stopped by yet it is definitely worth the effort!
Veterinary Clinic Of Clemson
I tried to purchase some over the counter flea medications from the Veterinary Clinic of Clemson (before my pets had a regular vet), but found them to be very rude and even out of stock of Frontline (the number one selling flea medication). I find it unbelieveable that they would let such a popular medication go out of stock. I wouldn't take my pets to see this doctor...
Clemson University Conference
Clemson University's Madren Conference Center and Inn is a very nice place to stay if you are in the Clemson area. It is part of the Clemson University campus, but there are no parking "issues" there. The rooms and suites are very nice. There is also a 4 star restaurant from which you can order room service or visit to enjoy a nice meal. You are sure to be impressed with the Madren center and Inn.
Clemson Medical Clinic
The Clemson Medical Clinic is a good place to go if you need immediate medical attention, but nothing so severe you should go to the emergency room. They will try to work you in as soon as possible and will be very friendly. Most of the doctors are local and even obtained their degrees right here in South Carolina.
Woodlands of Clemson
The Woodlands apartments have just been completed here in Clemson. The apartments look great and have management on site (for normal business hours). These have to be the nicest apartments in Clemson, however I am quite concerned about their location. Just outside of the gates into the Woodlands is the Clemson "ghetto". I have seen the neighborhood children walking through the Woodlands properties even though their homes are outside of the gates. I imagine that in the summer time the pool and recreation areas are also overrun with the neighborhood children. Even though these apartments look great, we decided not to purchase one because of the proximity to the governement housing.
Clemson House Barber Shop
If you aren't looking for anything fancy visit the Clemson House Barber Shop. I believe that all ROTC students receive free (or deeply discounted) hair cuts here. They occassionally have a wait, but it is worth it for the cheap/free hair cut. You do not need an appointment to visit the Clemson House Barber Shop.
Clemson Body Shop & Automotive
I have found that the Clemson Body shop does not properly diagnos the problem with your car. I took my car there and was told that I needed a new transmission. Then I took my car to another mechanic and was told that their was just too much oil in my engine. If you are just looking for paint or body work they should be fine.
Sandy Springs Veterinary Clnc
The Veterinary Clinic of Clemson offers ok service for your pets. I prefer to go to the Tiger Town Animal Hospital because their veterinarian is a Clemson graduate, but the Vet Clinic will probably offer just as good of service. They are a little further away (located in Pendleton) and the vet is much older with more experience. If you are looking to support Clemson I would visit TTAH, with the Clemson graduate vet!
Animal House Veterinary Hospital
The Animal House Veterinary Hospital is located in the old Ancheuax on Tiger Blvd. I tried to go there to purchase flea medicine for my cats (before they had ever visited their regular veterinarian) and found the people there to be very rude. I would not let them put a hand on my pets. I didn't even purchase the medicine from them.
