I would recommend this dentist if you want to get your appointment and get out. The dentist and hygenist were friendly and didn't hurt my teeth any more than they had to. Plus, it was easy to get a next-day appointment - good for me because I never know when I'll have free time. I felt like I was in good hands here.
Saint Francis Hospital
I have had doctors appointments at this hospital, but never been a patient. The parking is difficult at times, but the building is nice and easy to use, and the offices are well-lit and pretty. The staff were very friendly and seemed to care about my medical issues. Would recommend.
Evanston Hospital
I have had several friends come to this hospital. One recently had her baby here and was very pleased She said she got a lot of attention and felt very calm because of the atmosphere and staff. The decor was very up to date. Another friend came here for outpatient procedures and she said that they get you in and out efficiently, without trouble and take good care of you!
Arandas Tires & Rims
We came here for a tire when money was low and we needed a new tire. It was easy to get to and the workers helped us pick out the best tire. Much cheaper than retail and overall a great experience.
Tiparos
Tiparos sells great food - every time we go we love it. They have various dishes with either noodles or rice, and their portions are generous. The atmosphere is bright and cheery, and the decor makes you feel like you're in Thailand. Their rice noodles are thick and scrumptious. This is my husband's favorite Thai restaurant.
Red Eyes Coffee
This locally-owned shop has great coffee and tea, smoothies and sandwiches. We stumbled upon it and love it. It has a great atmosphere, comfy seats, free wifi and even books to read while you're there. People were friendly, and they also offer entertainment on weekends.
Opart Thai House Restaurant
I've seen this place driving to work for months, and finally stopped. I got pad thai for carry out, and it was great! The noodles were the thin kind, though, so don't go expecting thick noodles like they offer at other stores. Still, it was very tasty, a good mix of seasonings, meat and veggies. Looked very upscale inside, nice place to go on a date or with friends.
Barba Yianni Grecian Taverna
This place was pretty empty the day we went, and the staff were pretty attentive. They lit a candle for us and the bread was good. My husband and I both got Lamb, but really it was just OK. Mine was pretty chewy, but maybe I got the wrong cut for tender meat. Overall, I wouldn't go back, but I'm really not a big Greek food fan.
Car Wash Quiroga's Detail
I had my car detailed here before sale, and they really did a good job. It looked like a new car. The staff were friendly, and it didn't take too long. Plus, if you get money from the ATM outside, there was a 20% off coupon on the receipt. No promises, maybe they'll end it but it was a great deal.
24 Hours Tow SVC
When our car broke down on the expressway, we got towed to Big Apple. Ruben took care of our Subaru and fixed the transmission. Even though it was an arm and a leg to get repaired, I called around and their price was competitive. Plus, when a sensor took a long time to arrive they let us use one of their cars. What service! They kept us up to date on progress throughout the repair.
