After '"the Scene" closed down there was little i could look forward to when bands came to town. And the reopening of Soma stll left me down. But then i heard about the Ground Zero Building and i just grew to love the venue.
Its still a good place to see bands you like but its still not great. With no ventilation its almost like being cooked with a band. The floor is slanted so that people in the back can see which is cool.
Che Cafe is awesome place to go. Its similar to a liberal music joint. Its situated on the UCSD campus and you will usuallly find friendly students who support animal rights and other issues.
Circuit City is a great place for anyone to buy electronics. They also have a very loose return policy so that you can return items that you may have lost the receipt to.-
Road Runner Sports has so much running shoes and apparel its impossible not to love this store. The people who work can help you with any question you have about shoes or clothing.
This place can offer you a wide slection of clothes and apparel for the fraction of the price that is offered at other department stores here in San Diego.
I do not see whats the big deal over hot topic. Clothes are horrible and theres nothing good what so ever. The people who work there are nice bt first impressions might intimidate some people due to the abundance of their piercings.
Everytime a project comes around and it needs to be decorated nicely this is where i go to get the stuff. It has everything from colored construction paper to paints.
This is an excellent place to get copies or anything else you might need for your office or class. The people there are friendly and helpful. And its not that expensive.
There should be more places like nickel city. With a small entry few and games that cost only 3 nickels or less , its a great deal. They also have some free games as well.
