this store carries the most beautiful selection of formal dresses. it is great for weddings and proms. they help you with all of your needs. they also carry accessories so it's a one stop shop!
this store carries a variety of chicago gear. if you're looking for a sweatshirt from a specific school, they got it. this also applies towards caps, baby clothes for the sport fans, greek gear, etc. even though the price is generally higher than normal, it is worth it if you dont want to drive to the suburbs.
this bookstore is great! it's not as busy as the surrounding bookstores. if you're looking to study, there is often an open spot. if not, the wait is not long. staff is so helpful and nice.
this place is great for the sweet tooths. its homemade ice cream served in a clam shell bowls makes this place unforgettable. it's great for dates-portions are huge. it's side includes their homemade hot fudge and wafer cookies. go there for your birthday, and you'll get a gift from margie's. to those smarties: bring in your report card with an "a" on it and you'll get a free cone on them!

this place is huge and you can always get a seat. their tom yum soup is spicy and mouth watering. order rice if you like rice with your dishes. pad thai is good-not the greatest. the waitstaff are very personable and hospitable. it's not expensive so the portion is worth it.
this place serves great food in great portions. the price is not expensive ($5-$8). their lad nar, penang beef and chicken, and their chicken satay is my favorite. they have three tables that has cushions as seats. so be careful to not lean back because you will lean on someone. the rest are wooden tables with backing to their chairs. =) weekends-waits can be 5 minutes. larger parties take a little longer. their ice coffee and ice tea is very sweet. their plum wine is delicious!
this new thai restaurant is a hidden treasure. it's atmosphere is very simple but nice. the service is great. the thai coffee is served with whip cream on top. the portions are decent but good. they also do party trays and delivery.

This place is always packed with diversity. make sure you sign in on the clipboard if there is a wait. every table has a colorful drink next to their boat shaped entrees. your main entree always come before your appetizer. in order to get the attention of your waiter/waitress, you have to wave your arms and make eye contact with them. make sure you get the bubble tea(drinks).
PROS: big portions and the drinks are healthy.
