My new home in the hills was overgrown with weeds. I hired them to do some lawn clearance. After an initial consultation, they came out and completed the job quickly and on time. When I noticed that a couple of spots were missed, they came out immediately to attend to the matter. I would definitely use them again!
I love this outdoor shopping center. It's much more convenient than the Beverly Center with easy parking and a central location. It has your standard shops like Gap, J Crew, Abercrombie and Bath & Body Works. But also some rarer ones like Anthropologie and Lucky Brand. You can sit down and eat at one of their great restaurants or walk to the farmers market for some great counter-joint grub.
This vintage store is really big with a huge selection of clothing from men's vintage suits and ties to vintage mumus for women. It's the perfect place to find a costume or that perfect vintage bowling shirt in navy and white pinstripe.
If you often shop at the Gap, you can continue to get the same styles at Gap Maternity. Located on the second floor of this Grove location, there aren't enough dressing rooms, and I wish there were even more options. But it's a great place to get Gap styles at Gap quality and pay only a little more than Gap prices.
You'll be dissapointed at the selection, especially when you realize that there are only about 5 maternity stores in the LA area within your price range. But the clothing is decent quality, affordable and stylish.
Every pregnant woman knows that quality maternity clothes are expensive, and that you'll probably grow out of anything you purchase within a couple of months. Motherhood is good for finding those inexpensive pieces, but the quality is pretty poor. You'll wear them out almost before you grow out of them.
I thought someone in their Pasadena location had a bad idea, putting florescent spots directly above the dressing rooms so that women can see every physical imperfection, but apparently the Glendale store has the same problem. It's just plain rude to torture poor pregnant women in such a way.
I can't get past the horrific dressing room lights. These florescent spotlights shine straight down showing every imperfection as if it were magnified. Considering their target market are women who are probably the largest they'll be in their lives, you'd think they'd have more sensitivity.
With several actual theatre buildings and dozens of theatre programs, Center Theatre Group is a highly competitive theatre in the US theatre scene. They offer top-quality productions that range from major musicals and operas to world premiere cutting edge plays.
Everyone in town knows Portos is the best, which must be why they're always so crowded. They're cakes are to die for and very reasonably priced. They've also got great Cuban patstries and sandwiches, better than you can get anywhere west of Miami.
