Futura is a huge store that sells a lot of Cal clothing and accessories for men, women and kids. Upstairs is women's clothing which has a lot of cute clothes. Downstairs they sell a bunch of t-shirts. The price is decent, some things are pricey but others are ok priced. The store is attractive enough to look around and shop. You have to check in any bags before you shop. You should take BART and walk there, otherwise park in the parking garage and pay (you can validate parking with a purchase of $5 or more at any participating store). I recommend the store to all. It's a nice store with nice clothes for a decent price, not bad at al.
This ski resort was the first place I went skiing at. They have $40 rentals for snowboarding (not sure about skiing) and they gave lessons as well (some lessons free with certain package). I just stayed on the bunny slope but it was fun and exciting on them. My boyfriend went on the actual slope and boarded off the jumps they had. They had friendly workers and the resort was pretty nice. I recommend to all. It would be great to go up there for a weekend with family and/or friends.
I love Old Navy because they have a lot of cute clothes for cheap. This store had three floors of clothing for men, women, kids, and accessories. This Old Navy is also near a lot of other shopping stores. Parking is difficult in San Francisco so I usually take BART. I like this store because there are a lot of cheap stylish clothing for all. The look of the store and clothing is pretty modern and in style. I recommend for all people.
My friends always shop at this store and they always have clothes that are so cute but I can rarely find anything for myself. This summer I found more clothes that I liked. The quality is not great, but it is decent for its price. They are pretty cheap and you just got to go through all their clothes to find something you like. I do not like the fact that they are messy but what do you expect for a wide variety of clothes. I just wish clothes were easier to find. You can shop on their website. This store is in Stoneridge Mall and parking should not be a problem. But I recommend to all women, although the store attracts younger gals and women.
I have gone to this church my whole life. I was baptized and confirmed here. I went to the Vietnamese mass though, but these past two years I have gone to the English mass. I have mixed feelings about the head priest. I like his homilies but a part of me is upset at the fact that he declined my request for a letterhead so I can write a letter of recommendation for a scholarship. I think I am still bitter about it but I wish he could have talked to me personally about why. Besides that, the church has gone through several renovations and construction so the church is like new. The priests are good as well, although I do not know them personally, I enjoy the service. A lot of people go to this church so I would say that it is a good one. The church always does activities for all which keeps everyone participating like a family. I recommend to all. Parking is no problem!
This store is a medium-sized store. They have a bunch of phones and a wide variety of selections of phone plans, and I believe they have on-sight technicians. The manager was the greeter and was very friendy, he made sure my problem was taken care of and even let me and my boyfriend use the store phone to take care of our problem. We needed to replace a broken phone, luckily we were insured and the new phone shipped overnight and we got it the very next day! They have great service and the phone service is great too! Parking is no problem, highly recommended to all (the store and phone service)!
This is a lovely small bridal shop. They have tons of gowns (I didn't really look through them but they had a variety) and you can order tuxedos as well. My boyfriend ordered a tux here for prom for a decent price. The owner is very nice and sweet. You can get your hair done there as well, they have dressing rooms, and you can order accessories as well. They have everything for such a small store. I recommend to all brides, grooms, prom go-ers, and anyone who needs a gown or tux (or maybe you just want your hair done). Parking should be no problem.
The structure of the zoo was nice, and it was easy to navigate around with or without a zoo map. I found it interesting that the animals were sectioned off according to where they lived: The African Savanna, African Veldt, Australian Outback, Tropical Rain Forest , the African Village, the Zoo Meadow, and the Karibu Village.
Seeing all the animals and getting an idea of their habitats gave me an excellent sense of their lifestyle. We see different humans all the time but we never see all the various animals (since they do not live nearby or we do not travel much in our lifetime to even see them). It is a different kind of experience reading a book or on the Internet about animals than actually seeing or observing them. I got a sense of animal diversity, rather than human diversity. I thought it was really cool seeing the Malayan fruit bats because they are temporarily at the Oakland Zoo, and I have never seen bats in my life! They can have a wing span of six feet, which is incredibly big considering how small a bat is.
I made sure I saw all the areas in the zoo. I am glad I went to the Oakland Zoo because it was a fun learning experience. I would definitely go again. There is no trouble with parking. There is a small snack bar for food when you first enter the zoo, maps of the zoo are available, and parking is no problem. It is fun to go with family and friends!
I love North Face clothing but it's pretty pricey. This outlet is not a big one, I wish it was, but it was a pretty organized store. The workers were friendly and offered their services. I was looking for a big snow jacket for womens but they did not have any I liked within my budget. I wish the store was bigger and was more clear with their signs (I thought a certain jacket was on sale but it wasn't). There was no trouble with parking. I recommend for all (just because I didn't find anything doesn't mean you won't)!
This restaurant has really good Indian food. They have a buffet with tons of food choices. It is a good way to try Indian food. The buffet was $13 a person, not too bad considering you can eat all you want, so come hungry! I love their naan and curry chicken. The decor is very lovely as it gives off an exotic Indian feeling. They have a big screen TV that plays Indian music videos as well. The service is alright, but they weren't rude or anything. You will have no trouble with parking because there is a big lot. The restaurant is huge and it looks like they even have a party room. I have been to this restaurant twice and the food is great and very filling. I recommend this restaurant to all.
PROS: Indian food, buffet
