My husband's family has been eating Mr Pizza for many years, and I remember going there with a friend of mine in elementary school because her family ate there every friday night. It's still one of our favorites to get, especially since you can get frozen pizzas that taste way better than the store-bought frozen pizzas. My husband still is recognized by owners/managers. Great local business, great people, great pizza.
PROS: tasty pizza
CONS: parking lot is pretty cramped.
We really like the pizza from Nick N Willys. If you sign up for their email newsletter they send you coupons about once a month which help with the price too. We've tried several different pizzas, but I even like just a plain pepperoni. It's really great when they have the pepperoni for $5. My kids like it too.
PROS: great tasting pizza
CONS: sometimes expensive if you don't have a coupon!
My husband and I tried Papa Murphy's when they first opened here in Rochester and loved it so much my husband felt compelled to call and tell them how much he liked it. We burnt ourselves out on it though and stopped getting it until recently. We tried the garlic chicken pizza and I thought it was really tasty. Actually, thinking about it makes me want a piece right now. I think we liked this one because it has different sauce on it than the usual red sauce.
PROS: good food, good price
CONS: can get sick of eating it if you go too much!
This is a great store to shop on clearance days, if you have someone to watch your kids. If you don't it's a nightmare trying to keep your kids from touching everything. The racks are SO close together, you'll spend the whole time trying to get things out of your todller's hands. Otherwise, it's a great store with excellent clearance sales.
PROS: great sales
CONS: too many racks make it hard to get around.
But forget shopping with any kids with you! There's no room for a stroller and your kids will not stay next to you unless they're older than 5-6? You'll find cheaper deals at garage sales, but factor in the gas and time and you'll probably break even. They say you get half of what they sell it for if you try to sell your old stuff. My Dad got $10 for an old wooden high chair which is more that we were planning on asking for it at a gargage sale!
Overall, great store, if you can go alone!
PROS: decent pricing
CONS: Racks too close together for a stroller, or more than 1 kid.
This is a good store with decent selection and pricing for expectant Moms. Forget it if you have a stroller and an older child, you'll be constantly trying to stop older child from grabbing stuff. Nursing clothes selection is minimal and expensive.
PROS: decent choices and prices
CONS: Not room for stroller and not much for nursing clothes.
I've only bought stuff once, but my Mom is a huge fan. I found 2 shirts on clearance for under $10 and wear both alot. Mom wears hers more and likes hers alot. It's a well-organized store and the racks are a good distance apart.
PROS: found shirts on clearance
CONS: Expensive overall
