This resturant is located in a beatiful old building on the river front. The food is awesome, ( and its not just spaghetti!) This place is usually packed on weekend nights. Make reservations!
Lemp Mansion
This is a very historic building. Lots of history in it. Interesting to see. Food is very good but a bit pricey. Usually pretty busy in the evening and weekends. Call ahead.
Made by Me Craft Studio
This is cool place for Birthday parties. The kids get to pick a craft project and work on it at the store. Tables are set up for working on projects. Kids have fun , make a mess and take home a great
creation made by them!
Hy-Vee
This store is very bright and clean. It is always well staffed and the workers are very friendly. They always help take your groceries to the car. They have a full service post office in the store.
Summer House
This shop is beautiful to walk through. It is located in a turn of the century house. The shop is packed with antiques and decorative items for the home. Very nice.

This is a family favorite. Ther is no fee for admission. The grounds are lovely. You will ride in a tram for a wonderful tour of the farm and its wildlife. Kids can bottle-feed the baby goats!
Nebraska Furniture Mart
This store is huge! I t would take days to look at everything in this store. The parking lot is usually very crowded, as is the store. Prices are about average. Sales people are sometimes hard to track down.
Ted Drewes
Only two locations in the St. Louis area but well worth the drive. This is simply the best frozen custard I've ever had. They have a very large selection of flavors. Very busy place in the evenings.
Fritz's Frozen Custard
This is not the best I've ever had but its pretty darn good. The shop always appears clean and the staff is very friendly. Not very much outdoor seating though.
