My husband was a regular here and I came in occasionally. The girl that ran the place was a very sweet person and took time to chat with all the customers and build a relationship with them. If you came in at least once a week she would remember you!

We were hard pressed to find a pediatrician that didn't scold us for our son's underweight. Everyone seemed to forget he was born early. Dr. Jorgensen was an awesome ped that had a preemie himself so he knew what we were going through. He was also very quick to make appointments and his staff was friendly and helpful.
Foreign Affairs
Took our older car in there and got it repaired. They were quick to fix and quick to diagnose the problems with the car. One of the mechanics was nice enough to do telephone estimates and explain to me about my car and not treat me like I was stupid. I will definately go back there again!
No Ho's Hawaiian Cafe
Oh..... I am a Hawaii person that moved up to Oregon and BROKE DA MOUTH! This place was AWESOME. Their kalua was sooooooo ono. I now live in Portland and I'll be heading there soon again!!!
JR Furniture
The showroom was really nice, but compared to the other places nearby, their prices were quite high. We did get asked if we needed help twice while browsing and the sales people weren't high pressure.
Bentoz Teriyaki
I've been dying for some excellent teriyaki, it's all in the sauce. As a Japanese person I was impressed with the food at this place so much that I've become a regular customer. They have decent prices on the items and the lady at the front remembers you if you eat there at least once a week.
Expressions Futons & Furniture
I finally made it down to Expressions and it was an interesting experience. I went in and felt high pressure sales, and told them exactly what I was looking for, and they still tried to sell my pricey items. I got what I wanted, and got out of there. I don't think I'm ever going back.
Salvation Army Thrift Store
My experience with this place is you need hours to browse the shelves here to find some good stuff for the price. They have lots of just STUFF. Their prices are good, but some of it is just crap.
Goodwill
They have good quality of merchandise at this store, much better than other used stores, as to probably why their prices are a bit higher. The store is bright and clean and stuff is easy to find.
Safeway
Everytime I've been here I've had nothing but a great shopping experience. Their prices are more expensive than Sherm's but they have a good selection of asian foods (the best in town) and the staff is VERY friendly and helpful.
