I have gone to the Sunflower shop for years and I love it. I could spend hours looking at all the different crafts and items they have here, much to my husband's dismay. They have a large variety of crafty items and gifts and at a wide range of prices. I only have one suggestion, if you go into the store and find something you like than get it right then because they usually only sell one or two of each item and a lot of times they don't get the same items back, they are always changing and updating their inventory. So if you are into crafts and unique gifts this little shop is the place for you.
Okay I have to admit that I was one who judged a book by its cover. When I needed a dry cleaner in Tremonton I wasn't so sure about Tremonton Cleaners, but if you live in this town you know you don't have a lot of other options, so I still took my clothes there. My clothes were actually cleaned wonderfully and at a very decent price. The staff was very friendly and found my articles of clothing quickly, which is a miracle in itself. So if you are questioning whether to go here or not I will tell you, don't let the building scare you off, they do great cleaning.
I went to Fisher's just a little while ago to look for a new leather furniture set for my family room. I was very satisfied with the selection they had, which I was a little shocked about since Fisher's is the biggest furniture store in Logan. Also I didn't find the staff very helpful or friendly. They would give me and my husband glares as we were testing at the comfort on the couchs. Plus once we noticed the price on the majority of the furniture we decided to leave and check elsewhere. I've had other family members who love to go there because they have unique pieces. My mother found a large clock for her family room there and she loves it because its so original. I guess if you are willing to pay a higher price than it might be someplace to look into.
When I was expecting my first child I went to Edward's to pick out a glider rocker to use after the baby was born. I wasn't sure what I would find since it is a smaller furniture store, compared to big national companies, but I was pleasantly surprised with the seletion and prices they have. The products were great quality and the rocker has lasted for 2 more children. The staff was very friendly and wanted to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. They even sent a thank you card after the sell to my home. Great store!
I love to go to this salon because they are so friendly and experienced. My two favorite stylists here are Wendi and Nikki, they are so funny and friendly plus they do great hair. Whenever I go to have my hair done here I leave with awesome hair, at a great price, and feeling uplifted for being with great ladies for an hour or two. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone.
I went to Sandy's Hair salon for years and I know that they are very experienced. They do great hair. The only thing I didn't like is that the staff don't act the most friendly and a lot of times they act like its a big inconvenience to be working on your hair. I prefer to go to salons where they hairstylists want to make sure you are happy and satisfied with your hair. If you don't mind the attitude than Sandy's is a great place to go because they are very current on the latest styles and very fashion forward. And I would recommend going to Sandy Astle, the owner and manager herself, because she's been doing great hair for years.
I went to Garland elementary and I still have family and friend's with kids who go to school here. It is a school that has that small town feel to it, where all the parents help out and volunteer in the school and everybody knows everybody else. I love the teachers here and I have wonderful memories of attending this school. I do think they could maybe update some of the school equipment outside, but when you think of how wonderful the teachers and staff are it doesn't really matter. I will always hold a special place in my heart for Garland Elementary school.
I love going to Ace Hardware because its not just a hardware store. They offer a craft/material section in the store and kid's items. Its more like a convenience type of store rather than just hardware supplies. They do offer good prices on their tools and hardware items though. And my kid's are signed up for their birthday club so each year on their birthday they get a birthday card and a coupon to take in and get a free gift. They love it! A wonderful store.
This furniture store is a great family owned business that works hard to make sure you are satisfied. I first use Northern Furniture as my wedding registry and they were so nice and friendly and kept me up to date on how my registry was doing. I also went to them later on to get a new mattress and I was pleasantly surprised to find that they have very competive prices, which sometimes is rare when they are competing against bigger nationally owned furniture stores. They also deliver you the furniture, at no cost to you, if you live nearby. I will be shopping at this store in the future and I recommend them to family and friends!
I haved banked at Member's First Credit Union for years and have always been very satisfied with the service. I prefer credit unions over banks anyway, but Members First is better than most credit unions. They know me by name whenever I go in for transactions and are very friendly. I can recall on one occassion where I called to handle a bank transaction and they did it over the phone for me in a matter of minutes, where most banks wouldn't have done it or would at least charge you a fee to do it. They also have a website so you can check your account day or night. Plus as an added bonus they give your kids suckers when you go thru the drive up window. Who can beat that!
