Dillards Farms Inc Ice Cream

Just about the best peach ice cream anywhere, and the employees are as nice as they come. You simply must come here to get peaches and some ice cream whenever you can. It is a fun place to come and people always enjoy it.

Taylors First Baptist Church

I am in college now, but attended preschool here and I loved it. I can remember being dropped off everyday and having an awesome time. They did something called Triple T camp and I remember just having the time of my life playing, going down the water slide, riding bikes, etc. I really enjoyed this experience and have fond memories of it. I would certainly recommend this to anyone who is interested in a preschool program.

Lady Foot Locker

This chain footwear store has been in Greenville for a while and at least for my shoe-buying needs, they have never really fit the bill. Their prices are generally too high and their employees don't seem very interested in helping anyone out. As well, in their efforts to attract a certain demographic, they have created an atmosphere in which many people do not want to shop. Although they have a good selection, better deals and experiences can be had elsewhere.

CONS: Price, service, atmosphere.

Linens N Things

This store is fairly new to Greenville and it has been a welcome addition. They have just about everything that Bed Bath and Beyond has and they have pretty good prices too. They also take any Bed, Bath, and Beyond coupons, and they are very leniant about restrictions. The only qualm that I have with this store is that they are so big and full of stuff it is sometimes hard to find help.

PROS: Great store, great selection, good prices.
CONS: Hrad to find help sometimes.

Things Remembered

This place is GREAT! I have gotten so many people gifts here. Their prices are great, and they do engraving for free or very cheaply. I have gotten many professional looking gifts here for a lot of occasions and I have never had a problem with any of it. Awesome store for wedding or anniversary gifts.

Outback Steakhouse

Outback is a chain restaurant and if you haven't been to one by now you should go. They are famous for their Bloomin' Onion and it is great. In my experience, their seafood is not of the best quality, but their steaks and other entrees are pretty good. They do not take reservations, so you just have to come and wait, and they are always busy, but it's worth it. The bar is nice too.

PROS: Good food, prices, great bar.
CONS: Loud, dark, always busy.

Cityrange Steakhouse

Great place to get steaks, drinks, and have a good time. This is a really nice place to come and get a steak with friends or family. The food is always top-notch and the people are very nice too. I have never had any complaints.

Publix Super Market at Pelham Commons

Publix is a great place to shop. Their prices don't really seem like anything special, but the store always seems cleaner, and you don't have to fool with any cards or clubs or anything. The prices are what you see is what you get. Also, they have Boar's Head meats in the deli and they are the best! I enjoy shopping here.

Wade Hampton Lanes

This is the only bowling alley within reasonable distance of most places on the eastside of Greer/Greenville. It is not very clean and always smoky, as most bowling alleys are. The people are nice though, and they have a lot of fun activities. The prices really can add up though, so try to come on a day when they have a special.

CONS: Prices, atmosphere.

Hot Springs Pools & Spas

I guess this is the only store in its area that sells pools and hottubs and actually has a showroom. I bought an expensive hottub there and had many problems with the cover and rain. It was literally rotting and falling apart on top of the hottub. This was after only a year of owning it. The store wouldn't help at all. I had to do a TON of calling to the manufacturer and hassling to get any help at all.

The guy that owns the store used to be a pro football player and he has pictures of himself all over the store. I would stay away from here unless you are looking to throw money into a black hole.

PROS: Only store of its kind in this area.
CONS: Monay drain.
