Dippy's Ice Cream Store
Good ice cream but not a lot of choices. They offer a lot of different toppings and the service is always good. Definitely worth the stop when you are at the mall.
Gloria Jean's Coffee
A great place to stop for a cup of Coffee or Latte. Great flavors to choose from. My personal favorite is the caramel latte with whipped cream. Just a little pricey but worth it.
Jillies Ice Cream Parlor
A great ice cream place. Hershey's ice cream - rich and has great taste! Definitely worth the drive to Thomaston. Prices are reasonable - you definitely get a lot of ice cream for your money. They soft serve cones are huge.

This shop offers beautiful gowns and a great selection. They take care of your entire wedding party and make sure all the details are covered. Reasonable prices too.
Giovanna's Boutique
When I was in high school, this shop was in Waterbury and it's where I purchased all of my semi dresses. They also had unique dresses that none of your friends would have and they always made sure you had the perfect dress. Great customer service. Attention to detail.
A Touch of Holly
This is one of my favorite shops. Great ornaments, many of them hand of my trees throughout my house, dept 56 village, wreaths, gifts, and so much more. Make sure you have the time to shop because their is so much beautiful things to look at. They offer beautiful gift wrapping too.
