Chubba's Bagelry
Their bagels are great in the morning and in the afternoon as sandwiches. I usually get it to go, but you can sit and relax a while in their cozy restaurant. Their bagel baskets are out of this world and very reasonably priced. I have both received and sent them. Better than fruit baskets or flowers! There's a little something for everyone her.
Big Frank's Barbeque & Grill
Our youngest loves eating here - he calls it the pig place. Good ribs and other grilled fair like hot dogs, burgers, etc. You can fill your own bowls with warn popcorn and munch while you wait for your food to be done. Take our also available. About the same cost as your typical fast food place, but a better value for your dollar. With your meals, you get this really great corn bread.
Litchfield Filling Station
We have used RJ Ford to repair our cars for the last ten years. He has been on his own here for the last seven. Finally a car mechanic you can trust. He specializes in Volvos, but we take our other car here as well. He knows his stuff and is willing to give you options. He is honest. Occasionally it may take a while for your car to get repaired, but that is a testament to how good he is, that everyone wants to get their cars fixed here. Reasonably priced. We use him all the time for our vehicle for repairs and service.
Norwalk Historical Commission
We just recently joined as a family for the year. Two trips and we more than made our money back. They change the Imax movie and the ride every three to six months, so that part will be different if you go more than once a year. The kids loved the exhibits, especially be cause they got to watch the seals being fed and could touch many of the sea animals at certain sections of the exhibits. An easy drive down route 8 and I95. We plan on taking the kids again in December. They also have a nice dock over looking the water that you can enjoy. Even the restaurant there wasn't too bad. The gift shop had lots of cute items and many at $5 and under. The kids could pick out a souvenir without us going broke. Our children range in age from 5 to 12 and they all enjoyed it.
Allstar Appliance
We recently purchased all new kitchen appliances and a washer and dryer. It was an excellent deal. They even held the appliances for several months due to a delay in our construction. When ready, they came and installed everyone in a couple of hours. They were wonderful to work with. They had previously service some of our older appliances and were quick and not over priced. They are family owned and operated and treat you like family too!. For get home Depot or Lowe's - this is the place to go for all your appliances.
Health Complex Pharmacy
We have used them for years for all our pharmacy needs. Even though they have recently changed ownership, they retained the same caring and knowledgeable staff. They are always available to answer any questions or help you with any concerns you may have.They will deliver your prescriptions if you request it. I wouldn't trust my prescriptions to anyone else!
Bagel Station
We have been here often for breakfast. The kids love the bagels, then we stroll next door to the parent/teacher store. Nice place for a quick bite. Service is always fast and friendly. Their sandwich bagels are really good too. Good value and better for you than those "fast food" places.

One stop shopping for my health needs. Internist and ob/gyn all in the same office. I have been with them for over 17 years. Just for women and all female doctors and staff. They can relate to your real life problems as they are mostly working Moms too! It is great having one file for both. No retests, or calls or referrals. When I was pregnant, and there was something they needed to consult with the internist on, they would just have her come down the hall. i had very high rick pregnancies and have three beautiful children. Their patients always come first. I highly recommend this office. The Office and exam rooms are clean. Annual exams take a few weeks to be schedules, but they are usually good at taking you in for emergencies. I don't rally care for the automated systems, but when I had an emergency, I had a call back within ten minutes after hours.
Freidus, Debra, Dvm - Watertown Animal Hospital
We have used them for over 20 years. I have always felt that our cats and dogs have received only the best care. From routine check ups to emergency care They are the best. Always compassionate, you can tell that it is not just a job for them, but a love of the animals. They always share some of their own personal experiences with the own animals when necessary for us to make certain decisions. Some staff members also volunteer their time at non- destroy shelters. If you want your pet not only card for, but loved along the way, this is the place to go.
Carvel Ice Cream
If you like soft ice cream, this is the place to go. They have the best soft serve ice cream. Their sundaes are tasty. My kids love to come here. Especially on a hot day or after a game. Their flying saucers are great to take home as a treat.
