When I was a kid I always remembered they had the best hot dogs here. Now, when we're in town, my kids love them too, they also love the old time feel of the place and the fact that their kids meals come in cardboard 50's cars.

This is a great place to meet friends. Prices are fair, portions are good(always more to take home) and the salsa is delicious.I believe there are mariachi singers on Fridays still but I may be mistaken.
Good Ideas
OK I may be revealing a bit too much here but this is really the best place to get kids birthday gifts.Their selection is fantastic and unusual. I have been known to swing by(on the way to the child's party of course)get the gift, the card and have it wrapped. One stop shopping, what's better than that!

Sherri did a great job cutting my hair. I have been to a few places around looking for a great consist ant hairstylist and I finally found one. I always make my appointment for my next cut before I even leave.
Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History
I love taking my children here. It was one of my favorite outings as a child and my boys love it just as much as I do. The woolly mammoth is spectacular and the dinosaur exhibit is wonderful.

I love the fact that there is always someone there to talk to. Nurse practitioner on call for 24/7 for questions. Awesome hours(until 7 I believe) and you can even get sick visits on the weekends. We've seen all the doctors in the practice and they are all great.
CT Children's Museum
I was taking my children quite often when my mom was having chemo @ Yale. This was the kids favorite place to go.They especially enjoyed "The Space Place".
