Willie's Burgers-Chiliburgers
They have the best burgers. Willies is in a great location midtown, near the freeway. They're a hole in the wall burger joint with limited seating, but the food is so good! We come here a lot for a late night snack and it's usually always busy. Parking is never problem and I always come away satisfied!
SGC Japanese Restaurant
We come here for lunch all the time and enjoy their teppanyaki!! Their food is so delicous and flavorful (chicken/steak) and I LOVE their fried rice. The chefs are always entertaining, quick, and efficient. If you have a birthday, they'll give you a small trinket which makes the experience that much more enjoyable. The lunch prices are so inexpensive and you get so much food. I usually get the grilled chicken lunch special for $9.99 and add fried rice for an additional $1.25. Can't beat it!
El Rosal
I usually pick up lunch here. They have inexpensive lunch specials with generous portions. I usually take it to go and the staff is so friendly and quick that it's a always a pleasure to visit them. I usually get their chicken taco combo which comes with rice and beans. Delicious! I was happy to find this place.
De Vinci's Delicatessen & Catering
My sisters got me hooked on De Vincis. We come here for lunch and you get so much food for a great price. Their raviolis are so delicious and they serve it with salad and bread. So filling! The place gets really busy around lunchtime, so you might want to try going in around 11:30 to be able to get a seat. We also use them for catering so keep them in mind when you're having a party!

I was referred to Dr. Sakai by some friends and he truly is great!
His calm, gentle, demeanor makes a visit to the dentist less intimidated. He has a wonderful staff who is very helpful with the paperwork and his hygienists do great work!
Virgin Sturgeon Rstrnt-Marina
I come here for breakfast and it's so good! It's a little restaraunt on Garden Hwy tucked back by the water. You can sit indoors or outdoors overlooking the Sacramento River. This converted riverboat is always a treat.
New Lai Wah
This is one of my favorite chinese food restaraunts!
The interior almost reminds me of a truck stop, but the service and food is so good. A friend brought me here and I've been hooked ever since.
Vagabond Inn San Pedro
Despite the area, I still felt safe. They have parking, which was a bonus and their rooms are clean enough. We stayed here the night before a cruise. The morning of the cruise we took a cab to the port and left our car in the inn's parking lot. After the week long cruise we picked up our car, which was safe and sound. If you're on a budget, I'd recommend it.
Rio Car Wash
I was excited when Rio Car Wash (a full service car wash) opened.
The prices are very good. There was a less expensive package, but I chose the $15.99 deluxe package which included the exterior wash, interior vacuum and dust, towel dry, windows and tires cleaned, and a fragrance. They also offer full service and express detailing. My car was FILTHY when I took it in and I was very happy with the results...a CLEAN car!!
Rick's New York Style Pizza
Rick's Pizza is always a sure bet. They have consistently great pizza at good prices. They always meet my expectations and are a good deal. I definitely recommend them.
